[SWP] Response to IF Letter

Day 463, 08:19 Published in India Ireland by 1nterestingch4racter

I felt there are some unfair accusations being levelled at the SWP, mainly from the articles from Scrachit and Brood, which are likely to reach the top 5 because of the large amount of IF members. This is just in response, there is no mud slinging at IF, and I may remind you that actually, all the stuff is aimed at me. I might be the unofficial leader, but I hold no real position of authority within the party. Please read this, which is an official response.

I think you'll find that most new citizens join the biggest party simply because it's the biggest. I've never said anything about the IF not having a good president. If you can produce a good candidate then fine, we will back you. I remember that we backed you in the last elections. And oh yeah, you only got in congress because of the bug. Why did none of your party, bar a few, produce manifestos? And just because we are at war, a war that doesn't seem to be happening right this minute, doesn't mean that we should agree on every little thing. And I'm not saying you purposely took it upon yourselves to turn us into a one party country, but if you look, every time someone else has an idea it gets shouted down. If Indo attack, then the ordinary citizens will want to fight. How can they fight, is they have no wellness?

And then, Brood posts and article complaining about how we are behaving. I never said anything about our president not being a good president, I hadn't really noticed his absence to be honest. However, I feel that if he can't dedicate the time required, then he should resign. Also in response to your comment about not suggesting ideas to the Indian Wellness Plan, then actually have posted on the Indian wellness plan thread, and I have spoken by PM to the MoIA. How is that not actually getting involved and trying to help run it? And what I meant by a one state party, when I was talking about how India was controlled politically by IF, was not that it was a dictatorship, but that there was no real opposition, everyone was joining India First and agreeing with what was said, no one was saying, hang on, it could be done better like this, or this and everyone was going along with it.

We are offering a change, to all those who wish to have their voices heard. The workers, the ordinary people, the ones that make us great, not just our leaders. And I agree that we should unite behind to stop the Indonesian takeover, but I don't think a coalition can really be formed by parties with opposing views.
