Thai Ministry of Communication
The Thailand Shadow Government has, due to the need for a written document, compiled the laws of the nation. In addition, new laws have been added to better clarify the government structure of the nation.
The Constitution of Thailand
Government Structure
The power of the Government of Thailand rests with the High Council of Thailand. Membership in the High Council is by invitation only. A citizen who wishes to run for the office of President must be vetted by the High Council. A citizen elected to the position of President and who is not on the High Council receives a temporary appointment to the High Council for the duration of his term. The High Council is responsible for discussing changes to the Treasury, aspects of foreign policy, and for conducting primaries. The High Council may invite foreign citizens into Thailand for certain roles by a ruling.
To be eligible to run for President, a citizen must have been a resident of Thailand for at least six months, or, if he has served as a Congressman for at least two terms in a foreign nation, four months. He must have a newspaper, and must be vetted by the Members of the High Council.
To be eligible to become a Congressman, a citizen must have a newspaper and have been a citizen for at least 45 days before running for Congress.
The President possesses both the rights given to a High Councilor and the rights granted to Presidents by the eRepublik laws. He has final say over matters of foreign policy, and may only be overruled by the Council in extreme circumstances. Any changes in domestic policy that he wishes to enact must be approved by the Council. The President may distribute monies as he sees fit with the approval of the Council. Council meetings must be held at least once per week.
Congressmen possess the right to debate policy changes, and to officially propose policy changes no less than 24 hours after the attempt to change them is announced in the media. All other rights they have are those encoded in the eRepublik laws.
Directors are responsible for all aspects of their respective fields. A Director may only be overruled by the President and the Council. Directors may be replaced by a ruling of the Council. At least 1/3 of all Cabinet posts must be filled by High Council Members. The list of Directorates are:
Political Directorate: In charge of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Communication. May appoint up to one deputy for each of his three responsibilities.
Economic Directorate: In charge of controlling the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance. Is responsible for keeping Thailand financially secure.
Defense Directorate: In charge of the Thai Defense Forces and the Mobile Infantry. May appoint up to two Deputy Quartermasters responsible for distributing weaponry.
Denmark Directorate: In charge of relations with all Danish citizens and the government of Denmark.
Directorate of Social Services: Responsible for new citizen education and promoting intra-national harmony.
Special Dignitaries: Directors appointed by the President to act as envoys to certain groups or nations deemed to be of high importance.
A President may create more Directorates as he so needs. These extra Directorates, however, will expire at the end of his term.
Directors are expected to work at one of the Thailand Government’s companies for minimum wage for one week out of their Directorial mandate.
If a Directorate entails controlling a government organization, the password may only be known by a maximum of two people, counting the Director.
Referenda
The President may call for a national referendum on an issue if he so desires. Referendums will be monitored by the High Council. A referendum must have a total of twenty votes cast in order to be binding upon the nation. A referendum’s result may only be cancelled with another referendum or through a decision of the High Council.
Amending the Constitution
The Constitution may be amended through a decision of the High Council, or through a 2/3 majority vote of the Congress in the media or the forums.
Any laws added and not included in this constitution will be codified accordingly.

Were these ever even ran by the citizens of eThailand?
Does the proprietor of the Nakamure Family Corporation know anything about the history of Thailand? More importantly, is he or she a Thai citizen?
Ok i just read the first part and i am going to say auumn voted against becasue of this high council crap. ok so what you are saying is that people cant vote only an elite few really can and they will choose your president highly laughable! how about we keep it basic and democratic then i will vote yes!
Ok read the rest do away witht he high council and its not too bad!
Erepublik does not allow simple democracy in small countries like ours. It is too easy to PTO us. The High Council should be a counterweight to the foreign forces who outnumber the long-term eThais time and again. As such it is a good idea.
I admit that "Membership in the High Council is by invitation only." does not sound democratic. I propose to replace this rule by an automatism like "Presidents who abide by the constitution for their full term become permanent members of the High Council."
well what would be the process of picking high council members?
who wrote this article ?
I didnt write it... My consitution is still in the works and allows the basic rights, Not all this lawly loly law stuff.
Didn't know it was illegal to ask a questio in eThailand. I was actually curious if it was since I have no access to your forums. Though harsh words from a goon means not much. Seems public input would be kind of important any way you look at it.
An accusatory comment about the veracity of this organization is far more than just a "question". You have no access to the forums because they have been compromised by unknown parties. The public has the right to vote on the constitution outlined above. Details are in this article:
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/voting-on-the-constitution-updated--1501156/1/20
Voting is open to all citizens level 12 or higher.
Why not all members period? only level 12 or higher will alienate the new commers and junior members!
The Ministry of Communication is supposed to be professional and uniting. Instead they alienate half the eThais. I have also never applied for access to the eThai forums, so that is probably why I have no access bud. You know after reading that article, I was actually gonna say it didn't sound bad. Then I remembered the CP causes all kinds of instability and wants to kill business in this nation. Also, permanent sets on the high council is a bad idea. Then no new ideas will ever permeate in the gov't. There's my constructive criticism, that I am sure I will be attacked for. Good old eThai freedom of speech. ;o)
The day that James Rellori, or any one citizen for that matter, makes up half of eThailand is the day that Thailand is finally dead.
If you've never applied for access to the eThai forums, then good. The message the Shadow Government put out is doing its job.
The message of alienating voices? I am confused by the answer. Anyways like I said the rules on time limits for congressmen isn't bad. Can you guys just pass some laws that are business friendly? It would be for the benfit of all eThailand.
We are friendly 😃
Look at the proposals that are trying to be passed. Read the proposal for the new citizen message. Are those proposals for XP purposes? (And before I am attacked that is a legitimate question. That means you MoC.) Because I know all XP proposals are usually ridiculous. If they aren't, then that is some pretty corrupt stuff.
PS - Your MoC is definitely not friendly. Though Luthfisnet, I disagree with your views, you have been professional with me. Thank you.
