[SC/MoD] Interview with onrop, eIsraeli CP/Dic [EN]

Day 2,891, 11:04 Published in Czech Republic Iran by Janty F

Omlouvám se českým občanům za chybějící českou verzi. Mám toho poslední dobou celkem hodně na práci a překlad by mi zabral mnoho času. Pokud vám bude v anglickém textu něco nejasné, dejte mi prosím vědět v komentářích.

Dear eCzech citizens and friends!

Our country has recently signed an MPP with a new country: Israel. In order to introduce them and get to know their leader a little bit better, I've decided to make a small interview with their current CP and dictator, onrop.

1. Can you tell us a little bit of RL info about you?

I was born in Poland, but my parents moved to Germany when I was a little kid. I'm 31 years old and self-employed, always looking for new challenges.

2. How long have you been playing? And in which countries have you lived during your eRep career?

I play since 2009. But for the first 1 - 1,5 years I haven't been playing actively. Never thought I would play a browser game for such a long time. eGermany was my home until one month ago, then I came to Israel. It was the first time ever I changed my citizenship.

3. What is your political experience? Given the fact that you have 35 Congress medals, it is probably big, but have you ever been involved in the government before?

On the congressional basis I have quite a lot of experience, but I don't have any governmental know-how. I was never involved in the cabinet issues in eGermany. I rather liked to criticize them all the time for their unprofessional methods (Filz!).

4. When did you first get into contact with eIsrael? What is the chain of events that led to you becoming the CP/Dic of eIsrael? And have you brought some of your foreign friends with you there?

In the past I already fought several times on the Israeli side, trying to help them in crucial wars. One month ago I saw shouts from my Israeli friends that they need help against a MTO organized by Egyptians. This might have destroyed the whole community. So I knew that I must help them at any costs, because if they lose against the military coup, it would be even harder to free the country in the future. Luckily we won. Plus this MTO wasn't just a "simple" coup, but it was based on real life issues, as John TG already mentioned.

I didn't bring any friends directly with me, but some members from the German MU FSK decided to come to Israel too. They formed their own squad in Israel, FSK Metsada. The FSK is known for helping in Nigeria establishing new political structures after the country was brought into the game.

5. If you had to choose three best friends in eRep, whom would you choose and why?

The first person I'd like to mention is Lord o S. Currently he took the lead of my MU which I left back in Germany. Lord is a person I could always rely on in the game. He helped me when I asked him and vice versa.
The second dude is Edelmann. He's a likeable, funny and helpful guy. I hope I will drink some beers with him in the future.
Last but not least, John TG. A very kind person and a important citizen of Israel. He took care of the country for many years, even after most of the players left. Being in a small community with just a few active players and left by most allies, he never gave up. However, it's obvious that he got tired and disappointed, so he quit all political positions and gave the dictatorship to me. It was also him who invited me to Israel after I helped against the Egyptian MTO and in appreciation of this he offered me to become CP, because it was one of the medals I still didn't have. Although I was never interested in this medal, I couldn't decline the invitation.

6. What can we expect from you during your reign in eIsrael? Can you tell us about your current and future plans?

Well, I can't work miracles, like making a baby boom or persuade all registered Israelis to be online every day. Currently all I can do is offer some pursuit at no costs for the people (besides their spare time). That's why I started the idea of a Common Strike. The next one will begin tomorrow, Day 2,892 10:00 eRep time. And afterwards we publish some nice statistics created by Jascha Stark. Currently he is also working on some videos which we want to present in the future in order to raise the activity. But this is still a secret project 😛 .

I am trying to find a diplomatic way with Egypt. However, it doesn't look good. Their offer is too unrealistic. We can't pay 750k for one region. We don't have this amount of money and even if we had... it bears no relation to the offer given.

7. Have you ever had any experience (or had been in contact) with eCZ before you became Israeli CP?

Unfortunately, I didn't have any contacts in eCZ so far. But you and your dictator, Pirkus, are some very pleasant players. It's good to have you as an ally and I hope that you manage to keep your regions. I know that you were wiped out several times by Poland in the past - despite being Slavic, too 😛

I'd like to thank onrop for his time and his words. If you have some suggestions as to whom should I interview next, please, let me know. Other questions are also welcomed 🙂 .
