On May 5, 2023, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that COVID-19 is no longer a global health threat.
May 6, 2023 - the date of the coronation of charles 3.
Coincidence?
Do you remember the performance in the UK with a hospital and an illness?
Words: coronavirus and Coronation.
The royal family id a tourist money spinner. When it becomes a loss then like any business there will be redundancies.
No, I am not a royal supporter.

Alvaro,
King Charles III is definitely *NOT* your King - however, he *IS* mine.
It is worth pointing out that the French, who decided to do away with their Monarchy in 1793 during the French Revolution, have nothing to do with the British Royal Family.
It is also worth noting that one of our current Kings - Charles I was beheaded on Tuesday, 30 January 1649 outside the Banqueting House on Whitehall as a direct result of his meddling with politics and interfering with matters in Parliament - which in turn led to a bitter Civil War, which the Royalists lost! After 11 years, the people of England invited the son of Charles I, also a Charles (known as Charles II) back to rule as King - and Britain has remained a stable Democratic Monarchy ever since.
Whilst the concept of having a Monarch, who legally appears to have overarching power above those of elected Government, and to whom the UK Armed Forces swear allegiance may appear strange to foreigners, it has stood the test of time and has been proven to be a stable and robust way of running a Nation.
Really the only power the British monarch has is to withhold or refuse Royal Assent on any Parliamentary legislation. The last time that power was used was before the USA, Italy or Germany existed, way back in 1708 - and that was at the request of Parliament anyway!
Republicans want to replace an apolitical figurehead (and in any case, I'd imagine Charles would be a Green Party voter if he was political) with a potentially politically-divisive head of state, presumably every four or five years. Then we could turn into France, having riots every couple of weeks. Or Italy, with a different government every few months. Or good ol' USA, which has become increasingly polarised because "Orange Man Bad."
So yeah, long live King Charles III!
F* the "King"!
Long live the British People!
