Gentlemen,

A long time ago, we started the planning of the PEACEkeepers and some months ago Andreasisakson, Ealendil and Jazar received the mission to make it a reality.

Why?

By the time EDEN had developed a lethal mobile squad, the EMC, and thanks to that the eRepublik war changed; now it isn't based in tons of gold or strength/rank, but in mobility. Soldiers must be able to move and strike together, to flush together. Nowadays to put a wall down you don't need a Tank squad, but a well organized and mobile force.

So the PEACEkeepers project started, from zero, with persistence the three first organizers managed to recruit people that want to improve PEACE, that want to help PEACE. To begin our operations, we received private donations; our own soldiers donated gold and companies.

Organization

The first choice of organization we made was like this:



Reshev Villanova was our first SC, Ealendil and Andreas were the first deputies, while Jazar as PEACE SG was coordinating it.

1) Supreme Commander of the elite squad - She/He will be in charge of the PEACEkeepers obviously, so qualities like experience and reliability are extremely important for this job.
The main task of the commander is giving out orders directly to the soldiers, this implies that the guy should be well-informed of everything that's happening in the eworld. Any volunteers? We should end everything in a week, so raise your hands, gentlemen.

2) Deputies - their job is quite simple - advising the SC and, if necessary, they can be used as replacement.

3) Local Commanders - their first work is to pick and choose their best, most active and loyal soldiers and give them access to the super secret IRC channel. Lets limit the number of people per country to 6 and see what happens. Oh, and since we are gathering in IRC, it's very important all of them to be IRC-active (the soldiers, I mean) as well, so keep that in mind. There are no requirements as strength or military rank, but we are expecting to get the best you have.

4) Soldiers - following orders is all they have to do.

This organization was a failure, why?

After the organization was ready, Reshev resigned and we decided to elect our first SC, Ilija Bozic, with his two deputies, Frerk and JustinTyme. Just after the election Frerk got RL issues and Ano replaced him, but still, they were 3 guys trying to take care of 60 or more.

Also, with the local commanders stuff, some men thought that they were still part of their country's armies, but no, they aren't! They are part of PEACE army; they are supplied by PEACE, to fight for PEACE and receive orders from PEACE, if their country is from PEACE, PEACE will fight for them( we have in our army members from non-peace countries, like eIsrael)

So, after talking with others SGs and some PEACEkeepers, Jazar proposed a change on the organization; as it is write in the PEACE charter, PEACE SG got the power of PEACEkeepers SC and a command chain was needed, so Chebbba, STiH, JustinTyme, Lhasa, Ealendil, Frerk, Andreas, Jazar, Dishmcds and some others, start to work as part of a command chain responsible for supplying, recruiting, developing strategies etc; the local commanders system was ended, they´ve become just a reference for us in a way to know if the soldiers that apply to us are okay.

Some problems

With an organization "ready", some countries decided to help us out with funding, Austria, United Kingdom, Hungary, France, Germany, Serbia, Russia, Bulgaria( by chukcha) and UNL were the only countries that actually made donations to the group, but we fight for all of them.

Even if is hard to admit, EMC in terms of organization is bigger and better organized then us, PEACEkeepers was developed to be a small mobile squad that could deal 60k+ damage anytime, but our members got different timezones, some of them work or study also, so activity was a problem and also we calculated that EMC could deal much more damage then what was planned by us.

With lack of help from PEACE member countries, even after spamming their presidents, and some lack of interest, the PEACEkeepers organization went bad, even with some victories. Likewise, some local commanders never showed their faces to help us or give us names of their soldiers.

Solutions

So we decided to make more changes, and they are:

1- Finish with squads per country, in the place we´ve created 5 timezones each got 2 squads that will have 30 soldiers maximum( some still dot have).
2- We created an ORG for Monetary Market Investment, to generate more gold.
3- We keep the private donations system, begging for donations and also start spamming some leaders.
4- Created some Bases where our Soldiers work for us (and for them) at minimum wage producing the weapons and MTs we use in battles.

Base

Sometimes it is cheaper to produce weapons and MTs besides buying them, so we decided to create bases where our soldiers can work.

If some of the guys complain about the system, they can work some days for us and some days in private companies that have got PEACEkeepers seal of approval (they must be able to fire us quickly and often). However, it really is necessary for them to work for us, this way WE CAN SUPPLY THEM ALL and we PLAN TO HELP THEM GETTING HIGHER RANKS IN THE FUTURE ALSO.

So...

We aren't perfect, but we've got a goal; our goal is to reach the top and become eRepublik's finest mobile squad, and how do we reach that?

We reach that with active soldiers (on mIRC and forum), with countries helping us (at least at the beginning), with some funds (even if is just a small monetary donation), private donations, more soldiers etc....
