Military Situation
eJapan has won victories in Kinki and a resistance war in Chugoku region, restoring our national territory. The invasion of Kinki was an unexplained attack against eJapan by new eSouth Korean president, Clopoyaur.
Emperor Kokawayoshi Makoto lauded the victory in an official statement.
Minister of Defense Alfred Ball promoted military recruiting and released official orders here.

eJapanese country president KITA Ikki is currently discussing the situation with both parties in order to prevent an escalation of the hostilities. A planned counter-attack, however, was stifled by an eRepublik game glitch that has not transferred initiative to eJapan, despite its victory. Japan Election Commission restarted
On Day 1,115, New JEC Commissioner virusxpl presented his request for program applicants for this organization dedicated to defending eJapan's election system.
Proposed Laws:
-Day 1,116: eJapan's new Natural Enemy is eSouth Korea. Final vote was 27-2.
-Day 1,114: Imperial Diet donated 228 gold from the National Treasury to the National Bank of Japan. Final vote was 24-4.
-Day 1,113: Imperial Diet extends the embargo against eNorth Korea. Final vote was 23-8.

Indeed, as soon as the Natural Enemy Law Proposal passed, I was prepared to launch a counter-attack, but was STYMIED by the completely unexpected appearance of a bug in the war module. I have sent a report and contacted the appropriate channels urging them to take immediate action.

I disagree. I like the idea of using a successful counter-offensive as a bargaining chip to gain control of Jeju.
I realize it might be difficult to hold against medal hunters, but it would not hurt to try.

The natural enemy proposal was less a political statement and more designed to get eJapanese fighters a 10% bonus to their battle influence against an opponent that we will actually be fighting on a regular basis, even if it turns out to only be training wars. It also gives our guys another slight advantage against the battle hero medal hunters.
Should there be a more appropriate or useful natural enemy in the future, we can change the natural enemy designation with a new proposal (every 7 days).
