[MoFA] - No Longer Recognizes South Korea's Sovereignty - Recognizes NK's Claim

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has recently denounced the sovereignty of South Korea and have asserted their claim to the region. The official stance of the Japanese government acknowledges the legitimacy of North Korea’s claim and pledges support in asserting it.
For the past few months, South Korea has existed in an unruly state, threatening surrounding nations with its instability - Japan in particular. The Japanese government believes that North Korea can establish order in South Korea, which will lead to greater harmony in the region.
As a result of all this, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs will institute a few policy changes:
- All matters of diplomacy concerning the Korean peninsula will go through North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- In accordance with North Korea’s wishes, the country will henceforth be known as just Korea while the region of South Korea will now be known as “south joseon.”
- The Japanese government will not recognize the “government” claiming to represent “south joseon” and any policies created by them.
- The leaders, past and present, of “south joseon” will be viewed as criminals in Japan. They will not be welcomed here and the government shall use its influence overseas to make sure they are not welcomed anywhere.
- In the event of a military conflict, the Japanese Imperial Army will assist on the side of [North] Korea in asserting its rightful claim towards the region of “south joseon.”
These policy changes will go into effect immediately.

Lejina, I'm not sure what you intend by associating Akki with this lunacy. If you're saying that it was his MoFA who announced it, all that would amount to is our President trusting the wrong people.
Also, you are the last person I would expect to imply that Sugawara was legitimately elected President, or to care about his opinion.

I wonder where Lejina gets the idea that Akki approved this message. Is it from the fact that the MFA waited until the last day of the President's term to post it? Or the fact that Alfred's trolled in the past? If past trolling were the criterion, unfortunately, half of our most active citizens would be out of consideration.
Anyhow, it's a relief that the MFA has no authority to do any of this, and that the troll who posted it isn't MFA any more. What's embarrassing is that he decided to deface the public newspaper on his last day in office.

As Yonai points out, we have no diplomatic ties with your group and therefore any Korean issues WILL go through eNK as they are the only one's on the peninsula that you have such matters or influence with.

It's unfortunate that Alfagrem and Yonai are playing along with this crap that Alfred, Lejina, et al. are trying to feed us for kami-sama knows what reason. First of all, Nowe didnt reference a specific quote. He made a general reference.
Second, that thread was talking about a training war. Nowe made it sound like Akki had planned a hostile invasion.
Third, even if you're talking about some newer thread, and after leaving office Akki did propose a real invasion, that isn't at all relevant to the point. The war has been on the back burner for months. Recently we've been in talks with the South Koreans. Then the (now former) MFA takes it onto himself to as a "goodbye present" post an article solely to provoke South Korea? That is needlessly inflammatory and serves no conceivable national interest of Japan. If I'm wrong on this, I'm sure you can explain that supposed interest, ne?
If Choson is invading Kangoku, it would be much more in Japan's interest to negotiate a settlement (so that the genuine threats of Russia and Indonesia can be faced.) Actually, there has also been statements by Akki - trolling or not - via IRC in which he disregarded the fact that eSouth Korea would engage in a training war and would attack anyway.
