[I&W] Reaching out to LSD

Yesterday I became the Party President of Iron & Wine and I want to thank everybody that voted for me. My first official act will be to reach out to our longtime partner, LSD, and its party members.
We share a combined history as we are, currently, the two oldest parties within the UNL. This means that we have had to work together a lot of times and because we have always been almost equal in size, but on opposite sides of politics, also a lot of conflicts.
Right now we are in such a conflict situation. We are in the government together but had different opinions on several things such as the name change issue. This shouldn’t be a problem as we are both entitled to our own opinions. However this disagreement let to a big argument between several party members on both sides which led to a lot of feelings getting hurt. Both sides accused each other of things that might or might not have been true but instead of listing to our own voice of reason we reacted emotionally. We could no longer give the other side the benefit of the doubt.
I call on the party members of LSD, including the PP, to set aside those differences, leave the past in the past, and work with me and Iron & Wine to guide the UNL through the stormy period that we are in. Now is the time to show that the two oldest parties of the UNL can take the union and guide it to safety.
After all what is more important, our country and the people that have voted on us or our own emotions and feelings?

Agreed also. It has no use to keep this constant bickering a part of every discussion, since it doesn't help this country in any way.

dionysus, I can't talk for everyone of couse*, but each person (no matter which party), that wants to try to get this union a real union again then I surely want to cooperate. There always will be differences, but it must be possible to work for the Country together. I hope this is also true vice versa.
*: Based on the talks and this article I think there are enough. Many weren't even part of the discussions the last days.

I agree with this.
However, i think its more fair to ask this to your own members to. I think you did that inside your party, but its always oke to ask it in here to. Then we really can see that the I&W members wants to make progress.
Ofcourse it is discussed first and many I&W members agreed. The ones that didn't leave a comment here are the ones that weren't involved in the discussions the last days.
