'Greater Yorkshire' Triumphs!

After the outbreak of war between the two opposing Midlands factions, Y&H could not believe the brutality of the attacks from both sides. For the East Midlands own good, we decided to march south and 'liberate' their region. The West Midlanders have been driven out, and East Midlands is now called South Yorkshire, in part of a 'Greater Yorkshire' This is for their own good, and the good of Yorkshire as a whole.

Now, on to more pressing matters, The East of England, in an unadvised move, have promptly declared war on us. We have begun our bombing campaign, but have no wish to add it to Greater Yorkshire, it is too far south. Once we have our revenge, and destroy their cities, then we will not invade, it will be too much effort.

Now, to the West Midlands, you are carving out an empire in the west, and I have no problem with that, I would like to see our two sides sign a peace treaty so we can become strong independent states in our own right. As a sign of our commitment, we offer you the 'East of England' to add to your ever growing empire.

And our attention turns to the north, to the barbarian scots, who are likely to launch a southward bound invasion into the north East. We will of course be providing them with full 'protection' from these uncivilised marauders.
