[Fi4PoNZ] Who the @#!* is working with me?

In my last two campaign articles, you found out who I was and what I’ve done in this game as well as what I plan to do. Today’s article is about who I plan to have working with me and supporting me.

But before I get to that, I would like to tack a disclaimer onto my policy article. To quote the article that Josh Frost, eUS CP candidate, published today, “A wise e😜resident by the name of Scrabman once told me that platforms were “just lies to get you elected” and that once you became president that the situation would always dictate policy.” Already, due to the invasion of our neighbor Australia, my plans are changing. What they are changing to, I cannot say yet. But do not expect that everything I said in my policy article will still be possible by the time I get the chance to act on it.

Now onto the cabinet:



The very top of the Cabinet, of course, is myself. But it is also:
Vice President: Bristel Akina
Chief of Staff, International: Necros Xiaoban
Chief of Staff, Domestic: wahoobob

Bristel wrote a damn good article about why he’s my VP, and I’d like to repeat one main point here. He’s my VP because I trust him. I trust him to make decisions when I’m not around. I trust him to press the necessary buttons when I’m not around. That’s what I need in a VP: someone I can trust.
As far as the CoSes go, I picked two of the hardest workers in New Zealand. I particularly want to highlight wahoo. He and I have had multiple disagreements when working together here in NZ. But you know what? He’s always been respectful when disagreeing with me. I’m glad to have someone like that on my cabinet, who can tell me I’m wrong without treating me like an idiot.



The Advisers

Adviser: calbe

Adviser/Congressional Liason: Albert Neurath

There’s not much that needs to be explained here. One former President, two RL Kiwis, the Former Provisional Leader, who helped build New Zealand, and one of the leading Congressmen and Party Presidents. A solid advising team.



International Section

These are the ministries that deal with international issues. They’ll be overseen by Necros Xiaoban.

Minister of Defense: (tentative) Wang Chung
Military High Council- Strategy: Gaius Marcus
Military High Council- Strategy: pineapple64
Military High Council- Invading Wales: Bass Junkie

The MoD will be responsible for moderating between the (apolitical) military and the (political) Cabinet. The MHC and MoD will also assist me and the CoDF, Darkmantle, in deciding on which battles and wars should be given our priority. You’ll notice there is no MHC members in charge of the organization of the military; that falls exclusively under the CoDF’s job now.

Minister of Foreign Affairs: Mr. Lassan
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs: Jamarcus
Envoy to EDEN: Daniel Dodge
Envoy to PHX: deVillefort

This is going back to a more traditional FA layout as opposed to last month’s. However, I am keeping the two main workers here, Mr. Lassan and Jamarcus, because I believe they have done a solid job this month.

Minister of Finance: Devoid
Deputy Minister of Finance (Trade): James Rellori

When I selected my cabinet, I asked Bristel, NX, and wahoo for input. Devoid was the unanimous choice for this job. His Deputy will be specifically focusing on Trade, rolling the old Ministry of Trade into this ministry.



Domestic Section

Minister of Media: Marcos Arolia
Deputy Minister of Media, Wiki: Thomas765
Deputy Minister of Media, External Media: Silent_Hero
Deputy Minister of Media, IRC: Andy Costello

Fairly simple here. The Ministry of Media is responsible for PR and government communications, but also for keeping the New Zealand Wiki pages up-to-date, creating baby booms, and maintaining the community IRC channels (and there are deputies specifically focusing on these last three functions).

Minister of Intelligence: Albert Neurath
Deputy Minister of Intelligence, Immigration: deVillefort

It’s fairly evident what this ministry is responsible for, but I would like to highlight one area that may not be as obvious. This department will be responsible for tracking and gathering statistics on eNZ citizens, which can be used in many ways, including by the next ministry I’ll mention.

Minister of Citizen Aid: Michal Lodziana 1
Deputy Minister of Citizen Aid, Citizen Entertainment: voice

This ministry will be responsible for helping our citizens who need food, as well as running education programs. The Deputy is specifically in charge of keeping this game fun for NZ citizens (this role replacing the old Ministry of Fun).
