POLICIES

Here at the FDP we are committed to efficient government, effective government, and energetic government. We operate along the lines of a state that is as large and involved as is necessary, but as small and disinterested as possible. We believe in personal freedoms, both social and economic, and we believe in the importance of market reliance in questions of economic stability and growth. We believe in the rights of national self-determination, and the rights of a people to decide the path they wish their government to pursue through a free and fair democratic process. These are our bedrock political principles. Party policy will be derived from these basic beliefs, and the FDP will challenge all governmental policy that runs counter to them.

THE UNDERDOG FACTOR

The FDP has not always been taken seriously as a major political party in the UK but due to recent events such as the take over of the BEP party and decline in support for the PCP, we really believe we deserve a place in the top 5 and hope to achieve this shortly with your help.

The FDP currently lie 6th in the UK with the take over of the BEP membership is declining. The BEP has now fallen by over 50 members since the PP elections and is continuing to fall which is going to leave a void for this enthusiastic and energetic party to fill. In our party there is a strong encouragement to get your voice heard, new players are always taken care of and guided through your early days in the game.

Our Party President John Thunscorpe has a lot of party experience; he has been FDP party whip, leader of the FDP community action program and helping to run our recruitment. He has continued to impress in his role of leading this party up the political ladder and towards achieving our long-term goals. The forums are growing in activity with new members joining in frequently, we have our very own IRC channel which is open to the public where anyone can get involved in political discussions shaping this party for the future. You may also have seen one of our adverts, which was put in place by John, trying to entice members into our community. We have put in place schemes to help us recruit new fresh faces for this party and it has been working, with membership slowly, but steadily increasing.
