[eIre CP] A quick update
Aras an Uachtarain
Greetings eIreland,
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, spending time with loved ones, or loved pets or even loved booze. Before the end of term, your government wanted to update you on a few pressing matters, that being the Ireland/UK war, future conflicts and also the upcoming CP elections.
This article will be brief, but expect a more detailed one before the end of the term.
eIreland and eUK recently signed a peace treaty with each other, after the UK government attempted to invade Ireland. What started out as a training war between two nations, soon led to back door deals with France and a cancellation of the training war contract, instead turning it into a real war. This war was short lived, after eIreland turned the tables on the UK forces and pushed deep into their territory.
But now the peace deal has been voted by congress, so all hostilities have ended, for now. While the UK changed governments during the talks, the incoming government decided not to pursue the original peace agreements, however the Irish government still went forward with it, due to the promises made to the people of both nations. But this has left what could of been a peaceful border, into a hostile one. So for now, Ireland will be keeping a close eye on our neighbour and preparing for when they try again to invade.
I would also like to say Thank You to the Irish and friends who fought for us, as well as say thank you for those who did not tank when told of the impending peace deals.
While we are on the topic of potential future hostile nations, eIreland is still under threat of an AS. This has come about for many different reasons, partially people thinking Ireland is an easy target (just ask France how easy we are
😉), from peoples personal vendetta's and also their failings in getting their allies to win battles against us.
Due to this, eIreland will need to stay on the defence preparedness until such threats have subsided. Congress will be kept informed as best as we can to all threats as they come.
We are a few days out from the July CP elections, however I believe there is still time for people to put their hands up to their Party Presidents, to ask for nomination. If anyone in eIreland desires to run for the top spot in the country, speak up and let your voice be heard.

Dear Irish populace,
the peace deal that Rusty wanted was for you to hold on to Northern Ireland for an extra couple of days. A region that while gives bragging rights, provides no tangible benefits. We, the incoming eUK Government offered Rusty a Fish region instead. We felt that after the nightmare the previous Government had walked us into we felt, you the Irish people deserved something better than bragging rights. A slight increase to your production. We asked for nothing other than a reset in realtions.
Your CP refused this and has seemingly took it upon himself to try to raise tensions by trying to make out like we have been lying.
That is not the case, eUK wished to reward the Irish people with extra food production, your CP refused it.

You do realise everything is run by our congress. So leave your propaganda to your own people.
Ireland doesnt need your fish resources, if we wanted resources we would of kept you wiped rather then offering you peace. Even with the region that had fish, we would not have a border, so it would be bugger all of a bonus.
The main thing Ireland wanted was a NAP, which you refused to sign. But that goes both ways.
The truth is not propaganda... the picture you are trying to paint coud be seen as propaganda
Did we or did we not offer you a fish region? Did you or did you not want to keep Northern Ireland for a few extra days? Did you or did you not refuse our offer of a slight increase to your production? I think it's cute that you think you could hold our regions for any length of time with spending millions upon millions.
You wanted an agreement that we would not attack each other. You have that. The only thing you do not have is a text document stating that fact. I suggest eIreland takes that up with the next Government. I think it would be unfair of us to sign the eUK players into a NAP that lasts longer than our term.
Sad. Fake News.
Leo, I didnt see you in the thread that discussed what was going on between Ireland the UK.... but I do see you always following Waynes word... mmmm....
But guess you know more then the people who was included in the thread.
Leo is a central part of our Government. He is very much up to date on eUK affairs. If you think it's only people in the message that have seen what was said and discussed, you are very mistaken.
We like to share and garner opinions in a Chaz Admin.
You're right Rusty. I wasn't in the thread. Screenshots exiat though bud. Sad.
And leo I could provide screenshots with your leaders trying to change what was originally agreed to
