[Dáil Éireann] Minimum Wage Change

Day 1,015, 15:12 Published in Ireland Ireland by JGutenberg

Welcome to the second piece in a series of coverage of the Dáil Éireann. Today we look at the controversial topic of the minimum wage. For several months after the start of v2, the minimum wage was .25 IEP/Hour. However as our economy deterioated this became unpractical and it got to the point where there were only 2 level 1 jobs on the market. I proposed the minimum the minimum wage of .1 IEP/Hour and amidst a lot of heated arguments and controversy it passed, although several individuals remained unhappy. There were several attempts to return it to .25 IEP/Hour, however they failed.

Proposal: Minimum Wage Change

Proposed by: Justori Bronzeg

Proposal:
“Change the minimum wage to .15 IEP/Hour.”

My vote: I unfortunately didn't have internet access, but I would have voted yes so people stop their whining.
Requires: 50% + 1
Resolution: Passed.

Comments: I was going to propose a very similar proposal to shut some complainers up... except then my internet died. Anyways, good work Justori.

As a result of this absinthe12 ran under the hypocritical campaign that I was a lying bad socialist and that he would change the minimum wage and somehow got himself elected. So far he hasn't done shit though.
