[CP Elections]Alfagrem - Internal affairs

Day 1,445, 18:39 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Grampa Alfagrem
The internal ministries

The Ministry of Home affairs, Ministry of Legislation and Ministry of Citizenship are those that have a greater impact on UK society and as such will not immediatly be subject to the civil services act as it is my belief that the government is moving away from listening and reacting to the populace towards a more, almost condescending sense of 'noblesse oblige'.

In order to correct this drift towards patrimony the 3 ministries will be non-cabinet but sensitive access positions under the chairmanship of PCP party president Burton Hotaling.

Under a re-drafted and re-enacted Democracy Act the ministries will engage in a rationalization of their processes in-line with prevalent public opinion.

Other plans for internal reforms to re-engage with those in the community that have began to drift away from the rest of society are also in the works.

Open democracy
Advisors postions will be terminated and the only non-elected members in sensitive will be the King, the last CP, the heads of the 6 ministries, our liason to ONE (Imperator) Keers and for reasons of succesion - the candidate that finishes behind me in the CP elections.

Under a re-enacted 'Democracy Act' there will be ample opportunity for those who believe they posesse special knowledge to have their say on UK matters in public discussion with the rest of the public and the charge of government through 'clique' will no longer stand in this new age.

UK honours
A comprehensive review of the honours system will be undertaken with input from some of the oldboys who's time in the UK precedes my own.

A new system of honours and grading will be initiated and past award winners of note will have thier honours migrated into the new system or stripped in such cases where the award was unwarranted or undeserved.

Bringing life back to the Forums
Boblo's house will return to the UK forums! Whilst not a fan of the group they bring a certain activity and sense of fun to the off-site portion of our experience.

They will not however be on the front page but an additional grouping that players are free to join in much the same way as party forums operate.

Their 'Pope' shall be given moderation of the BBH group and as long as fair warning is given of the content expected and generic forum rules are adhered to then they shall be granted the right of return.

The Officers Club
One of the area's of expertise that the UK has been lacking in over these past few months is in the arena of fighting a war.

Given how the game has moved away from it's earlier promise into one of sheer fighting - this is not an area that we can afford to ignore.

Therefore a seperate 'clubhouse' shall exsist for UKAF and MU leaders to attend in the hope that pooling the partial knowledge and theories we DO have will result in a forum of learning and development of the military mindset.

It is my hope that from such seeds we will be able to open up the forum at a later date and form an 'Imperial War college' that will help to educate our troops into being able to fight smart and efficiently in the absence of senior command.
