What We Must Do...

Day 605, 14:07 Published in USA USA by Gaius Julius
Whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.
(Sir Winston Churchill) yeah thats right eUK I quoted him, watcha gonna do?

This nation values a great number of virtues and ideas. We value our ability to vote, justice and service to our country. Our country now stands tested like never before. We have enemies who seek not simply to take a state or two. No they will not stop till they have crushed the eUS into a shadow of our former self. It is a dark time we live in, but now is not the time to give up. Now more than ever the eUS must be the shining beacon for the free world. We must prove PEACE wrong, we cannot go quietly into the night. Now is the time to stand untied and fight peace with everything we have.

This paper is a two part message, not only is it encouragement to keep up the fight but it is also a reminder that the eUS must fight peace not only on the battlefield but with the ballot box. Hungary is possibly the most successful PTO'r in history, they have a voter core who will move on any notice. There has been a lot of talk vote freezing, dictatorship and OUR right to vote where we will choose. I will get into this but let me first give you some history and facts.

Indo and Hungary together can move probably close to 3000 voters. Include some other nations and they could scrape together 4000+. The eUS has never known the worries of PTO, the closest we ever came were few random foreign candidates and the failed UIP PTO. We have had the PRIVILEGE to live freely, have a thriving democracy and are able to maintain a stable nation. Our allies and other countries have not been so lucky, they have known oppressionand destruction of their country and the systemized decimation of their society. Lets look at some past examples.

-Months ago Spain came within a few dozen votes of a PTO of their congress. I'd like to remind you that at that time Spain was our only ally with high iron they are also our closest ally to date. During that month we had one of the highest vote tallies in our countries history. Essentially we told our allies our petty squabbling was more important than our alliance. We sent a clear message ONLY the eUS has a right to her liberties. Where is the justice in that?

-Last month Croatia lost to 1300 Hungarian voters. This was the same month where the Libs and the AAP had their famous vote off in NJ. Both people who ran were good candidates, they were similar in just about every way, what if they had run in their normal states? It would have meant the 100's of votes moved there could have gone elsewhere. Maybe enough to give Croatia control of their congress? Possibly. But once again we sat on the sidelines, we showed that we love democracy, but only for ourselves.

It is nothing but clear hypocrisy when people stampede talking about OUR right to debate, to politicking, to vote in the eUS. What do you say to people in Croatia, Greece, Spain Canada? You talk about people's rights but with the same breath you say liberty for only the eUS. I say every person in this game has a right to their country. The eUS holds the moral high ground, and if we want to continue to be able to claim we love democracy and liberty, then we have an absolute obligation to help protect it in other nations. Ill leave you with this question. I stated above that our enemies could get the votes to PTO us, if this happened do you think the same allies you resign to death would come to our aid, are you willing to risk that?

Now back to the present day, it look as though the eUS is safe from PTO. But what about our allies? Countries like Greece, Canada and Croatia are not safe. They are key allies who have fought for us in every battle thus far. The eUS can bring more voters to potential PTO's than any other country. As I stated above we have a moral obligation to save these countries. But how? A lot has been said in support and against the vote freeze. The problem with this vote freeze is it lacks both force and full compliance. Without both it is essentially pointless. It fails to show the ability to move votes out of the country, what is there to guarantee all votes won't simply stay home anyway? The solution is in fact much simpler.

The Air Force, volunteers for liberty
The Air Force was created several months ago, a brainchild of Jewitt (coolest dude ever!). They are an all volunteer force. Over the past months they have chosen to selflessly sacrifice their right to vote at home to save other nations. They are the definition of freedom fighters and defenders of liberties. Furthermore this service is the solution to the eUS's PTO problems. So what happens now? Well like any federalist papers article I decided to make a list of what different people can do.

Parties:
-Agree to stop movable voting and sniping this month. This is not the time to be arguing over Tennessee or North Dakota. We do not need another New Jersey where two parties move in hundreds of votes to win an election.
-Promote the Air Force and voting abroad to your members. Ask for volunteers who will be willing to donate their vote to the cause of liberty and justice. -Worry less about who get more seats this month
Citizens:
-Volunteer for the Air Force HERE . Consider it your patriotic and civic duty to sign up.
-Pressure your party and fellow citizens to put aside rhetoric this month and focus on the cause at hand. -Keep up the fight! Show peace what you are made of!

The eUS has the greater potential than any nation, we can not and must not be defeated. We are the guardians of liberty and justice, it is our obligation to commit ourselves fully to this cause.
