UK business owners paying over the odds?
Grogu.
We are a nation of shop keepers!
This is a follow up article to http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/producing-q7-tanks-2406346/1/20
After the feedback I received my brain went into over time and I was trying to work out how things are like the way they are, my first though was maybe the whole games wage module is set roughly the same this wasn't the case as you can see below.
So why is the UK business owner paying over the odds in wages makes no sense, right now countries which can produce 20 tanks per staff are paying less per worker than the UK , and the UK can only produce 16 tanks per worker, we are only holding ourselves back paying too high salary.
Many workers currently employed in the UK are not from the UK as they join our work force due to high wages, so I'm guessing they are not buying our products off the market as our tanks cost a little bit more than anywhere else.
So UK business owners my message is you are paying too high a wage, I know you are all fighting for people to work for you, but if the UK can work out a better balance it would suit all, still pay high wages but not too high you are killing any chance of business owners progressing.
Also to progress the UK needs to improve their weapons bonus so we can produce 20 tanks per worker!
My next article will look at the ideas of profit sharing

People tend to pay over the odds because of a major labour shortage and high competition from other business in comparison to international alternatives 😛
An interesting topic to bring up though, voted
If they work together they can lower it to help themselves.
Communes tend to be more efficient yeah
I mean the business owners should work together and help set a lower wage as right now we are one of the highest paying countries without full bonuses.
problem you have there is if you set low wages people go work abroad for higher wages
As much as it may be flawed it works perfectly for me, the worker.
😛.
It's a curious area for the left to be exploring, but I do agree, moderation is required to any policy. Having a play with the analyser tool suggests we're overpaying up to double the wages worth for a reasonable spread of manufacturing levels. http://www.erepublikanalyzer.com/RentabilidadFabricacion.aspx
Looking to other game systems 10-25GBP is typical per million dmg on the battlefield as a sweetener.
Feel strongly that multi accounts are a large factor in our problems, if you are a multi (I'm not condoning it) you have a responsibility to your employer and your wallet to work. But... why then am I struggling to get anyone through the door at 9am in fact I've got this great flexible time scheme where you come to work for 1 click whenever the hell you like, still hardly anyone wants to work.
That said I'm wondering if the problem is more complicated. The balancing probably expects for each citizen to consume at a specific rate, multi accounts - working or not - probably consume very little. This drives the cost of our product down.
Manufacturing within MU's, collectives etc. is great for them, but damages the wider economy. The more I think about it the smaller eUK feels.
Question for anyone who's trie😛 Normally import taxes apply to purchases; Does the game allow for citizenship changes to freely import large amount of materials/weapons.
I think it needs further discussion and probably short term unilateral cross-party support, but I'm decreasing my maximum wage to 25GBP immediately. This is still wildly over the odds, but hopefully it'll encourage all members of the eCBI to consider their wage.
Why do you reduce their salary to 25? you are a credit card player, why worry about paying 30 GBP?
In another comment you told you are close to q7 guns factory (again with your credit card). so pay you employees with than, much better for them.
In response to Chris1983/Schroons response below. You're correct in stating I'm not a free clicks player, but I don't use credit card. There's another way, all hail Debbie Debit...
The key to being not poor (not the same as rich) is to know that your expenditure does NOT scale in a linear fashion with your income. If this mistake is made, you can eat caviar on breakfast toast along with bubbly, but you'll be just as poor as you were before.
If X is a fair wage, it's a fair wage if your employer is minted or poor. I may well elect to pay workers in tanks, but as you note in your comment, I don't have a tank factory, and it's not looking so great!
Also read the article written by one of your party, a left of left extremist group, before brining my left of centre ideals into question...
Food one can import.
Weapons no, no profit there, says net/unit is 0.02 for WRM.
Some people get very cheap WRM. This is the biggest cost factor, not salaries.
Also, some people accept losing money now, build up a large stockpile of weapons while the WRM prices are fairly low, then sell the weapons for ridiculous prices when the next competition comes along and demand spikes.
All I got from this is that you work for yourself.
