Heute hat Slowenien die letzte Region von Kroatien befreit. Congrats Slowenien!

Italien macht auch eine interessante Bewegung, in den sie Slowenien den Krieg zu erklären.
Da Polens und Kroatiens Angriff gescheitert ist, hat Slowenien jetzt mehrere aktive Bündnisse gegen Polen und Kroatien. Die Kriegserklärung von Italien ist wahrscheinlich für ein Regionen-Swap, so dass Slowenien die aktive Allianzen nutzen kann, um Polen im Süden von Frankreich anzugreifen. Der rote Pfeil zeigt den Weg, dass sie voraussichtlich nehmen werden.
Die Region Rhone-Alpes, kreiste in blau, enthält viel Holz - und ist somit eine äußerst wertvolle Region (auch eine riesige Festung). Falls es gelingt diese Region aus den Polnischen Händen zu befreien wäre ein sehr schöner Sieg für Phoenixt.

Beachten Sie auch, dass Ungarn nun auch an Italiens Grenze ist. Es könnte einige interessante Möglichkeiten geben, wenn Ungarn auch in Südfrankreich einmarschiert.
Mit ein wenig Glück können sie Frankreich ganz schnell befreien.



Australien startete einen weiteren Angriff auf Südafrika. Diesmal waren sie ein bisschen klüger.
Zunächst starteten sie einen Widerstand Krieg in KwaZulu-Natal, und dann griffen sie an.
Das macht einen großen Unterschied. Es gibt zwei wichtige Regeln hier:
1) Wenn eine Region mehrfach angegriffen wird, kann der Präsident nur Rückzug aus dem ersten Angriff antreten
2) Sie können nicht Rückzug aus einem Widerstand Krieg.

Der erste Angriff war ein Widerstand Krieg, somit sie keinen Rückzug antreten.

Normalerweise, wenn Argentinien einee Schlacht verlieren droht, würden sie sich zurückziehen, bevor der Kampf beendet ist, so kann Brasilien Australien einfacher angreifen.
Nun, wenn Argentinien verliert, ist es viel einfacher für Australien, Brasilien als erstes anzugreiffen.

EDIT: mehrere Widerstands Kriege wurden begonnen, während ich dies schreibe.



Es sieht aus das die ALA, die Süd-amerikanische Allianz, etwas Ärger hat. Argentinien und Brasilien haben sie verlassen, und alle anderen Mitglieder müssen wieder erklären, daß sie Interesse daran, dort zu bleiben.
Das sieht viel wie das Ende dieses Bündnisses, aber wir müssen abwarten und werden es sehen ...

Day 851 of the New World

I skipped yesterday's article since there was seriously NOTHING to write about, although I'm sure an article with nothing but a bunny would have still gotten 100 votes. 😃



Today Slovenia has freed their last region from Croatia. Congrats Slovenia!

Italy also made an interesting move, by declaring war on Slovenia.
Since Poland and Croatia's attack failed, Slovenia now has several active alliances against Poland and Croatia. The declaration of war by Italy is probably for a friendly region-swap, so that Slovenia can use those active alliances to attack Poland in southern France. The red arrow shows the likely path that they will take.
The region of Rhone-Alps, circled in blue, contains high wood - making it an extremely valuable region (also a huge fortress). Anything that manages to take that region from Poland would be a very nice victory for Phoenix.

Also notice that Hungary borders Italy now. There could be some interesting possibilities if Hungary was also in Southern France.
With a little luck, France might be liberated quite quickly.



Australia launched yet another attack on South Africa. This time they were a bit smarter about it though.
First they launched a resistance war in KwaZulu-Natal, and then attacked it.
This makes a huge difference. There are two important rules here:
1) If a region is attacked multiple times, the president can only retreat from the first attack.
2) You can't retreat from a resistance war.

Since the first attack was a resistance war, and they can't retreat from those, it is impossible for Argentina to retreat.

Normally, if Argentina was losing the battle, they would retreat a bit before it ended to make it easy for Brazil to attack Australia.
Now if Argentina loses, it's much easier for Australia to attack Brazil first.

EDIT: More resistance wars are starting while I am writing this.



It looks like the ALA, the South-American alliance, is having some trouble. Argentina and Brazil are leaving it, and all other members must re-declare their interest in being in it.
This looks a lot like the end of the alliance, but we will have to wait and see...
