part one: Concepts
Concept One - Common ownership
Common ownership refers to joint or collective ownership by all individuals in society.
eRepublik rule:
Organizations and citizens of experience level nine and above, or those who have bought the "Unlock Features" pack, have the right to create, buy, or sell companies.

Concept Two - Egalitarianism
Egalitarianism is a trend of thought that favors equality of some sort. Its general premise is that people should be treated as equals on certain dimensions such as religiously, politically, economically, socially, or culturally.
Concept Three - Classless society
Classless society refers to a society in which no one is born into a social class. Such distinctions of wealth, income, education, culture, or social network as might arise, in such a society would only be determined by individual experience and achievement.

Other Concepts - Class struggle, World revolution, Proletarian internationalism
Hmmm.. - is enough in those cases. To "replace bourgeois ownership and rule, and install a workers' state based on social ownership of the means of production" is surely not possible in New World.

We have the right to exist and the right to lead any nation who votes for us. Communism is the road to the future and the is no other way. Capitalism is the past and a road to a dead end....with no escape!!
Communism isn't necessarily bad, but it has been abused by many of the governments that are communist; totalitarianism is not a part of communism, but due to the fact that it gives the state such a large amount of control, it can be abused. Similarly, Capitalism isn't necessarily bad in theory, but can also be abused.

There is maybe a little confusion between RL communist history and history of e-communism in this article, but especially in some of the comments. They are not the same thing. e-communism/e-socialism has its own history within the game...
The commune systems have been quite successful in many countries, for example. They are, of course voluntary.
And aarko-communist economic models do, of course, have to compete with the capitalist model in eRepublik. But there is nothing in the *rules* that prevents workers from cooperating and collaborating with each other to use the market against the capitalist firms.
The New World is an interesting place to work out commie-inspired models of social solidarity exactly because it is impossible to impose it in a totalitarian fashion here.
It's a bit hard to impeach Mr.Pollo at the moment since we dominate the congress a bit.
