Hey everyone,

Did I ever tell you my life story?
I didn't? Great I wasn't about too.

Basically my dad taught me to read at a young age, around five to be exact but I never stopped there.
You know those Bearnstein Bears books? I checked out about thirty (or more) of them, and finished them in about a weekend.

It didn't matter that my education stopped at the eighth grade because I had to work, I could get by with people because I could talk to them.

I remember reading Team Yankee, my first novel when I was about seven. Something about people killing other people in tanks idk...I hated that book. But I also remember reading Cujo by Stephen King and just loving it, I read more of Stephen King. I read Asimov, Philip K. Dick, Richard Matheson etc...

My point is that this game is like Facebook, Risk, Monopoly, and a blog rolled into one and writers like you and I are thriving and dying.

I never stopped writing because of this game and currently I am sitting on $52,006 USD and 33 Gold right now and I am feeling generous.

I propose a Writer's Contest.
The rules are simple:
1. You may write on anything as long as it's fictional and it's a story. That means sci-fi, horror, war, comedy, and romance.
No poems, limericks, it must be a short story.

Erepublik related or not you must include something about Erepublik in your article but not necessarily in your article. This is so we do not get our stories banned our reported for flaming.

2. You must write an original story. You may not cheat/plagiarize what someone has done. If I find you have it will be grounds for elimination.

3. Your story must not go over 1,500 words.
Please do not bore us all by writing just to fill space.

4. You may use pictures in your article.

5. You must submit your article link in the comments below and you must also link this contest to the top of your paper so that others may see it.
Example:
I am writing for Jon Malcom's First Erepublik Fiction Writers Contest.
