Join the new world

I hope to be elected as your congressman in the North West. I am running for The Unity Party as a replacement for Dean Stargazer who is leaving his position this month and I believe that you should consider voting for me as a candidate for the following reasons:

Activity

I am always active on the eUK forums and on the eRepublik website. I believe that activity is essential if you are representing the people of your region, and I should be around often to answer all of your queries.

Your MP, Your Say

If elected then I am answerable to you, the people of the North West. If you do not agree with a bill or you want to see reform, contact me and I will bring up your concerns both in the region and wherever is appropriate, even if that means talking directly to the Prime Minister. You are the people I hope to represent, and there is no I in Congress.

Your Needs First

If you have money trouble, work trouble or wellness trouble I aim to help with that. I aim to set up a small social security fund each week for citizens in trouble. This social security fund will provide you with emergency funding, gifts or donations, even if it has to come from my own pocket as I believe that every citizen needs a chance.

My policies are the following:

Foreign Relations

While ATLANTIS has shown failings in the war against France, it has shone in the PEACE uprising in Norwegian Russia and was beginning to shine in Argentina. I support all independence movements apart from PEACE sponsored independence movements, such as those shown in Germany. The Danish independence movement is well underway, and I hope to build up relations with a potential new ally of the eUK. Our country needs strong allies, and I plan to continue this trend.

Health

If elected, I will aim to increase funding as much as possible and I will keep in contact with the North West NHS director at least twice a week.

New Citizens

Rather than a citizen fee increase, if elected I will attempt use a small section of the planned social security fund to donate to new citizens who prove to me that they are active via in game PM. This incentive will also be raised should the new user join the forum and become an active member of the community.

Economy

I will push for a stronger economy in the eUK, and will work to cut unnecessary spending as much as possible while keeping the required amount for essential services.

Referendums

I believe in democracy in the eUK, and so while I plan to keep the House of Lords as is, I will work to allow the citizens of the eUK to freely vote on a bill that has been rejected by the Lords, to see what the citizens think and what, if any, changes should be made. Findings will be presented before the Commons alongside the recommendations of the House of Lords.
