Apologies from the Executive of eCanada

EPIC Congressman, have elected to Vote No to the Natural Enemy proposal with Ireland

After 3 Failed Irish attempts to NE us, and much anti Canadian propaganda in their media, the Executive of eCanada decided to respond with a proposal of our own against the Irish. We had secured funding for Mercs and had plenty of tanks to supply our way to Victory

Given the state of eCanada, and the populations eagerness to have a front line "Sexy War" (Failed promise of the last EPIC CP) and much True Patriot Medals and Gold to be had, The MDP and Norsefire Congressman responded with the appropriate "Yes" Votes to the proposal. Rylde has delivered on his campaign of putting eCanada on the Front lines...

"Lock and Load"

Unfortunately, the same mindless EPIC members that voted 113 times for Christian Doe, who wasn't even running for CP and had not released 1 article either, also elected 14 congressman, enough of which by the looks of it, mostly all voted No and decided to "Give MORE Peace a Chance"

Unless you've privately polled the 15 members who voted yes, and believe them to be honest, (or the 13 who voted no), it's rather tough to fairly blame an entire party. Perhaps there was a split in EPIC and the 3 CPF congressmen helped to ruin your fun? (MInd you, I have truly have no idea how the 3 CPF members voted).

And I'm assuming there was a CDC discussion of this... otherwise, the vote was illegal and could explain why so many voted against it. ANd if there was a CDC discussion of it, that would give you a good idea of who voted which way.

The CP has a low of power but congress has a lot of influence. Each entity can accomplish a lot on its own provided there is some alignment between the two. When there is no alignment, government grinds to a halt.

War with Ireland is not the answer to our True Patriot problems. It might be easier than other solutions, but the easier route isn't necessarily the right one. Also, it smacks of laziness on the part of our Executive. Do some work and find another front, with the blessing of our allies.

It's also possible that the NE was voted down because there was not a 24-hour debate in Congress and no exact Executive Order was issued to vote Yes. (I'm not sure shouts count as that)

It is my belief that forum procedure is responsible for people voting "no" as they are instructed to do for an 'illegal' proposal.

Rolo is blaming the wrong people and should be looking at the tools he uses, instead.

Yes Plugson, but the entire point of this exercise was to either get a NE, or to have something to blame EPIC on since that seems to be the entire point of this administration, not running the country well.

You do realize that you can move one MPP per day PLUS as many MPPs as your allies can move to restore the alliances? Also, considering eCan left EDEN last month, did you really thing they were going to pick eCan's side anyway? Also...

Ireland is an ally with many of our allies though. With the situation being as tenuous as it is in Europe, with ONE regaining much of their territories back, to lose our entire alliance stack would be rather disastrous.

If you attacked Ireland, Terra could just re-MPP you before Ireland countered, meaning you would only lose 1 region before you were defended again. It's TEDEN's turn to lose atm so I doubt this will make much difference in the long term.

Yes Addy we can resign the MPPs we lose in a day, but what is the point when we lose them all again the moment we attack any Irish region

I figure if we want a war it is to wipe the enemy, It would take at least 6 days to do that to Ireland if we win every battle, that is 6 days with no MPPs, and UK just wanting revenge

plus it cost quite a bit to resign 25+ MPPs
