More fights means more chances for Neo-Tokyo to blow up... Let's avoid that!
I. Fights
The current battles available to eJapanese include:
(a) the ongoing training war with eSouth Korea
(b) newly opened war with eNorth Korea
(c) eChinese invasion of eIndonesia
(d) eUSA push through eIran
NO LONGER INCLUDE (e) any battles via the eBulgaria MPP due to eGreek conquests in eMacedonia (eFYROM)--down to one region--and eTurkey, effectively blocking eBulgarian attacks.
(a) The training war with eSouth Korea continues, although recent election results suggest that eRomanians have taken control of a majority of seats in eSK's congress and so we must re-evaluate our positions on the war. (b) eNorth Korea declared eJapan as natural enemy in order to gain the +10% strength training bonus to citizens of countries with an active natural enemy promised by admin. eNK President Kaycloud assured me that eJapan would receive help if it appeared that our home regions were actually in danger due to the double wars. (c) The eChina MPP provides us the opportunity to finally fight eIndonesia and win. The eChinese have advanced three regions in the last three days, including seizing Karnataka today. (d) The eUSA continues its move through eIran on its way to Europe, something we do not really need to help with.

eChina and eJapan working together
I wish our main focus could be the war against eIndonesia, but we must also conserve our resources to make sure that the training wars--opened free of charge by the natural enemy proposals--do not get out of control.

Our new alliance has already issued logo apparel; it must be for real!
II. PANAM/MPPs
eUSA President Haliman introduced the PANAM alliance to his people in this article. Although the final composition of the alliance is not yet known, the presidents of eUSA, eJapan, eBrazil, eArgentina and eCanada have all signed the charter. The final alliance list will possibly include other countries as well, but negotiations are still ongoing.
eJapan and eUSA have also proposed a renewal of the alliance, which is being voted on in-game HERE.

The new Speaker of the Imperial Diet will communicate via the Wii Karaoke microphone
III. New Speaker of Imperial Diet and Minister of Security
Interested eJapanese can observe their elected officials discuss who the new Speaker of the Imperial Diet and who the new Minister of Security will be. Outgoing Speaker is Akki and outgoing Minister of Security is exReality. Please take the time to thank them for their service, if you get a chance. Discussion is available in the national forums here:

Our fine eJapanese tradition continues
IV. Country President Elections
As you all know, the 5th of every month brings out the very best in eJapanese politicians--the wall-of-text campaign articles, the complaining, the mud slinging, the ads (Admin, please fix them!)... Alfred Ball has already announced his candidacy and Squibeel has done the same, and I would also like to join the list of candidates on February 5th. I do not rely on the power of incumbancy to win elections: I will be participating in all party debates in the lead up to the election and hope that all voters will look at my ideas. If you think the ideas are good, then encourage the winner of the country presidency to implement them, regardless of who they are.

Sorry for the article length. Some of the above will be covered in the next Nihon no Koe eJapan official newspaper article, but I wanted to make sure it got out as soon as possible.
Thank you for the update. I think we should hang on to a South Korean grain region for as long as possible while the Romanians are in congress - food prices have dropped nicely.
