Sol on Australia
Sol HQ
For the sake of being official, Australia's status in Sol has been in a bit of limbo since the first attack on Argentina 9 days ago. Prime Minister Cerb and Jasper Ferguson expressed their anger in the Sol Security Council for allowing the Sol Wargames to continue during the attack. We had hoped that we had been able to put this behind us and focus on liberating South Africa, but the issue of withdrawal was still in limbo. We heard rumors that the vote was going through the Australian senate, though we never received any official word on the departure.
This article from the Ministry of Public Relations is as close as it gets to Australia actually using the established methods of communication to let us know their intent, and Chairman Kryteshyft has since moved to recognize their non-member status, which should be officially complete in two days.
So to answer the question directly as to whether or not Australia's actions can be considered part of being a Sol nation, the answer is: No. Are they technically in? Yes, but only because we waited to make sure this was their true intent and due to the absence of official contact (despite attempts).
As for supporting Australia against Indonesia, we would rather save our energy for supporting South Africa directly than defending a publicity stunt. We recognize the reasoning for Australian aggression, but we cannot agree with it, much to the dismay of our own camp, for we hate to see the situation degrade as it has. We do, however, wish them the best in all their future ventures.
Sincerely,
Sol

You guys should ummm how do I say.. grow a pair?
Sol - the alliance that continues to pretend it is relevant.
Keep on trying to make friends with Indonesia guys, I'm sure it will allllll work out, lol
Grow a pair? By activating Indo mpps for no reason? And jeapordizing the future of SA for...lulz? You want to know why Malaysia and the Philippines didn't attack Indo? Because we wanted to kill them. How is this best done? Containment and boredom. Way to go...
Growing a pair is, oddly enough, standard American rhetoric. That is Home of dumb, land of the fail. How many US offensive operations have succeeded? hmm...
bahaha so now we are the new america? because we attacked a dead empire? seriously sol is a joke, ive said it since it began.
I believe Sol has grown a pair. If you have not noticed, Sol has been doing most of the work against the Phoenix aggressors.
@Spencer
Canada, the country that thinks it is still relevent
lol
stage 1 of SOL stance on Australia pre-indonesian attack 2 days ago = "you'll always be brothers in the sol alliance!! weeeee luvvvvs you"
Stage 2 of SOL stance on Australia post-indonesian attack =
"Australia... who the #### is that? they aren't in our alliance?... never heard of them... don't know what to tell you bro....."
Australia cannot into:
South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, and now Sol.
Problem?
lol to see all the trolls above. Keep it coming guys - the irrelevant Sol loves to be relevant.
@Ezekiel Thomas: once upon a time, when eAus were run by less partisan people - Sol was very relevant to eAus's foreign policies too.
We just want to let it go at this point. There's no sense in continuing to bicker when our goals and philosophies are different.
AusFAILia
Hey Sol, where were you when we were invaded by Brazil? Oh that's right, ya'll didn't want to anger the bully, or you might get your scrawny candy asses handed to ya. Bravo, Sol, way to stoop to an ALL-TIME low, you have almost reached an Ajay Bruno status.
We didn't ask Aus to leave or kick them out, we recognized your desire to leave. We do not endorse attacking any home regions, which is in a recent resolution that we are signing with EDEN. This article was necessary to get through the murkiness that was the Aus status in the rest of the world's eyes, because no-one would bother giving anyone of us a clear answer.
I find it so hilarious how quick SOL (yes I know it is an acronym) was willing to dump Australia for Indonesia. True Friendship </3
I must admit though, SOL does have a lot of military power. Where would we be without Israel or Malaysia? \o/
@Carr De Vaux: Maybe to some people but I was outspoken about the fact that i wanted nothing to do with them. the only difference is that only now have the poeple that realise that Sol is not an alliance are in charge now.
We don't like Indo any more than the next guy, but handing them what they want--an aggressive act on their homeland--is not the right strategy to defeat them with. You call it sitting stagnant, we call it starving them out. We have two different ideas on how to handle the situation, and Australia is better off working solely with EDEN because its strategies meet your goals better.
So long and thanks for all the fish; no hard feelings.
😁 We call it extremly boring 😛 I don't see the fun in a game if it's boring. You?
And don't say "We call it suicide" 😛
>Hey Sol, where were you when we were invaded by Brazil? Oh that's right, ya'll didn't want to anger the bully, or you might get your scrawny candy asses handed to ya.
Um actually we were there, both times. 😑
Hi there, whoever wrote this:
"For the sake of being official, Australia's status in Sol has been in a bit of limbo since the first attack on Argentina 9 days ago. Prime Minister Cerb and Dycey Farley expressed their anger in the Sol Security Council for allowing the Sol Wargames to continue during the attack."
Umm ... I haven't lived in eAustralia for months so I paid no attention to the War Games. Until I was ordered to I paid very little attention to the attack. If someone is hacking into my account with you, can we do something to fix it?
Thanks.
Problem, Aussie?
vote
Its "SUicide!!"
Our apologies, Dycey.
SOL. Sissy Old Losers. 🙂

"Australia is better off working solely with EDEN because its strategies meet your goals better."....i agree
@ ezekiel - Sol is never meant to be an alliance that is 'in charge' and our state purpose has been defensive alliance. so, no hard feeling there since eAus wanting some action in the global arena.
@spencer magee - this guy is even eAustralian? he speaks like EDEN troll. anyway, i think it is an insult to say Sol was not there when eAustralia got invaded by eBrasil. eMalaysia/ePhil even stopped the Sol game once for that. Please check your stats again eg:

@corey blake - ditto above.
as again, eAustralians - you guys will be the new battleground for v2. I don't think negatively of your departure from Sol. But please, take it like a man - and don't troll the rest of us simply because we are different.
What a lot of unfounded badmouthing.
1. We didn't kick Australia out, it was Australia's desire to leave.
2. Yes, we find attacks on original Indonesian regions stupid. It's not a matter of having balls but a matter of having brains.
3. I'd say staying neutral requires a lot bigger balls than joining one of the two big alliances.
4. Sol nations helped both when Australia was invaded and now when attempts were made at liberating SA, too. Claiming otherwise is simply a lie.
"Hey Sol, where were you when we were invaded by Brazil?"
Like many Malaysians, I was fighting in WA, NT, etc. At the time, Australians were posting "thank you Malaysia." We're a small country, but lots of us were on the battlefields of Oz then. If you get invaded again, and it's not due to Australian aggression, I'll bet dimes to dollars we'll be fighting in your defence again.
Why the bitterness?
Australia = EDEN
