Shinsengumi Updates

Distribution Changes:
As you may have noticed already if you're a member, all members of Shinsengumi are receiving 40 Q5 food everyday they work. That's the base distribution for now. Depending on how the econ module looks soon, i.e. whether daily health regeneration is kept at 500 or lowered back to 300, we'll either be trying to add some weapons to daily distos, or increase food distribution towards 50 Q5 food per day. I've been reassigning workers to increase our useable revenue, and hopefully expand production enough to start increasing daily distributions more again soon.

For the time being, each member may buy up to 3 Q5 weapons a day for 15 JPY each. This price may rise or (hopefully) fall later, but it works for now. Just donate the JPY to me, and I'll send them to you. Keep in mind, this is only for SSG members. Also, if you want to buy more than 3 weapons per day the price rises to 30 JPY.



War:
Turkey, which is already invading our ally Russia, has declared their intention to invade our homeland. (Google Translation of the Article).



Standing Orders:
Because of the above, Shinsengumi standing orders are now to fight for Russia when they have an open battle.



Recruitment:
We're still recruiting. If you have a minimum of work skill level 6, are affiliated with Japan (Citizenship or residence), and want to fight more, you are welcome to join.

You will be required to work in a Shinsengumi company for 0.8 JPY a day. In return you will get supplied with food every day you work, with weapons for important battles.

Congress Elections:
We had a pretty successful set of elections. The SSG party ran 3 candidates under the Scapegoats banner, with 3 other SSG candidates running under their own separate political parties. Thanks to the help of SSG mobile voters of 6 candidates run, 5 were elected. Congratulations to ClausX, Luchsen, Nowe, Selphos, and Zetsurin. I'll be periodically PMing all of you to bug you when there's a vote up on the forums.



Presidential Elections:

Presidential elections are coming up, and if you're interested in running, post in this threa😛 (http://nipponblog.net/showthread.php?p=56594#post56594). All members are encouraged to voice their opinions on the candidates with that thread as well.



Shinsengumi Party:
The Shinsengumi party has now broken into the top 5 parties, allowing us to run candidates for congress under our own party. We're actually tied with Scapegoats at number 4, with their party ahead de to Kaige's higher exp. Hopefully we can get the 4th spot soon.



Who wants to be an officer?:
As you may have noticed, I sometimes am not the best at keeping battle orders timely, or getting updates and such out too quick either. So if anyone is interested in helping out, I'd be glad to have you. Eventually we might have some officers help with distro, but we're certainly too small for that to be needed now, unless we start doing more foreign deployments. Being an SSG lieutenant will get you 2 Q5 weapons a day in exchange for your keeping battle orders up to date.

Help make them a little more active. Any members who comment in the check in thread this week will get 2 Q5 weapons. (Shinsengumi Check-in) Members, who have already checked in will get their weapons as well. If you have problems getting on the forums, PM me, and I'll see what I can do.
