Sayeret Matkal - Elite Special Forces

Shalom citizens of Israel,

First of all I would like to congratulate everyone on the victorious war efforts in the hot Saudi dessert.
Historical in the sense that our country was never as large as it today. Although a territory swap is most likely to happen, it will benefit us as a nation and our neighbours.

The war was also a good training for the soldiers in the eIDF and the organisation as a whole.
We learned that our communication was not optimal, we learned that logistics needs improving.
Although not perfect, my opinion is that the eIDF is a solid organisation, with capable leaders and the mentioned pointers as above will be improved due to experience.

Certainly and completely obvious is that this war could not have been won with the tremendous help of our Brothers: our Greeks friends and of course other Allies.
The MPP with Greece, after our first battle, should have been a done deal before we went to war. But it has been the smartest move of the current Government considering alliances.

Not only did our Greek friends help us during the last battles, a lot of our brothers came before the very first battle on Saudi grounds.
They moved to Israel to help and assist us. We learned a lot from their war attitude and tactics.

Also due to my personal experiences in Greece the last months I decided to create a new Military Unit; Sayeret Matkal.
This will be a new Elite Special Forces Unit next to the eIDF.

Its purpose? Quick military actions. Short communication lines, good supplies and a strict military discipline are the basics pointers of the Sayeret Matkal.
To be successful in these “lightening strike” operations, we will move swift and quickly and do considerable controlled damage.

The Sayeret Matkal will never, and I repeat never go against Israeli benefits. Nor will it ever attack any other eIDF soldiers. It can be used, for quick military strikes by the discretion of the Israeli Government on request but only if the Chief Commander of the Sayeret Matkal agrees.
Nor will the Sayeret Matkal go against any military or political benefits of our Greek friends.

Timeline:

In the coming week I will select the Happy Few, with the desired strength (minimal around 1600 and higher) and rank. The candidate should also be active and ready to be subject to strict military discipline and ranking.
To be clear: a order is an order, not a democratic discussion.

The Army rules will be made clear within the group, and the candidates who are not willing to comply can step out of the Sayeret Matkal and return to service in the eIDF.

As said, the coming week The Unit will get its form and strict rules. Although there is no limit, I will keep the group limited to around 15 people, maximum. I will also take 2 younger players in, with low strength and rank. To get a good military education and learn from the experiences of the older soldiers.

When all candidates are known, the Sayeret Matkal will do a general rehearsal. Communication channels will be tested, response time will be recorded and actual fighting experiences will be monitored as well as candidates response to rank and military discipline.
This exercise will be held outside Israel in an actual battle.

אזרחי שלום של ישראל, קודם כל אני רוצה לברך כל אחד על המאמצים המלחמתיים של נצחון בקינוח הסעודי החם. היסטורי בחוש שהארץ שלנו היתה מעולם לא גדולה כמו זה היום. אף על פי ששטח החלפה סביר להניח לקרות, זה רווח אותנו כ/כפי שעם ושכנים שלנו.

המלחמה היתה גם טובה לאמן לחיילים באידף והארגון כשלמות אחת. למדנו שהתקשורת שלנו לא היתה אופטימלית, למדנו את הלוגיסטיקה הזאת צרכים משתפרים. אף על פי שלא מושלם הדעה שלי שהאידף הוא ארגון סולידי, עם מנהיגים מסוגלים והמחוונים המוזכרים כ/כפי שמעל ישתפרו בגלל ניסיון.

בוודאי ולגמרי ברור שהמלחמה הזאת לא היתה יכולה להינצח עם העזרה העצומה מהאחים שלנו : הידידים של יוונים שלנו ובוודאי בנות ברית אחרות.
המ.פ.פ. עם יוון, אחרי הקרב הראשון שלנו, צריך לו עסק עשוי לפני שאנחנו הלכנו למלחמה. אבל זה היה המהלך הכי חכם של הממשלה הנוכחית השוקלת התאחדויות.

לא רק עשה את הידידים היווניים שלנו עוזרים לנו במשך הקרבות האחרונים, הרבה האחים שלנו באו לפני הקרב המאוד ראשון בבסיס סעודי. הם זזו לישראל לעזור ולעזור לנו. למדנו הרבה מגישת המלחמה שלהם וטקטיקה.

גם בגלל הניסיונות האישיים שלי ביוון החודשים האחרונים שאני החלטתי ליצור יחידה צבאית חדשה ; סאיאראט מאטקאל. זה יהיה יחידת כוחות עיליתיות מיוחדות וחדשות ליד האידף.

המטרה שלו? פעולות צבאיות מהירות. קוי תקשורת קצרים, הספקות טובות ודיסציפלינה צבאית מקפידה הם המחוונים הבסיסיים של הסאיאראט מאטקאל. להיות מצליח באלה " מקלים בשביתה " מבצעים, אנחנו נזיז מהירים ומהר ונזק ניכר.

הסאיאראט מאטקאל מעולם לא, ואני נחזור על מעולם לא נלך נגד רווחים ישראליים. וגם לא זה אי פעם יתקוף כל חיילי אידף אחרים. זה יכול להיות משומש, להתקפות צבאיות מהירות על ידי השיקול דעת של הממשלה הישראלית בבקשה אבל רק אם המפקד הראשי של הסאיאראט מאטקאל מסכים. וגם לא הסאיאראט מאטקאל ילך נגד כל צבאי או רווחים פוליטיים מהידידים היווניים שלנו.

קו זמן:

בשבוע הבא שאני אבחר את השמח מעט, עם החוזק הרצוי ( מינימלי בסביבות 1600 ויותר גבוה ) וידרג. המועמד צריך גם להיות מוכן פעיל להיות בכפוף לדיסציפלינה צבאית מקפידה ומדרג. להיות ברור : הזמנה הזמנה, לא דיון דמוקרטי.

הצבא כללים ברורים עשוים בתוך הקבוצה, והמועמדים שלא מוכנים לציית ייוכלו לעלות מהסאיאראט מאטקאל ויחזרו לשרת באידף.

כ/כפי שאמר, השבוע הבא היחידה תעשה את הצורה שלו וכללים מקפידים. אף על פי אין מגביל, אני אחזקה הקבוצה תגביל לבסביבות 15 אנשים, מירבית. אני גם אקח 2 שחקנים יותר צעירים ב, עם חוזק נמוך ואדרג. להשיג חינוך צבאי טוב ולומד מהניסיונות של החיילים היותר ישנים.

כאשר כל מועמדים ידועים, הסאיאראט מאטקאל יעשה חזרה כללית. ערוצי תקשורת יהיו בחנו, זמן תגובה חוויות לחימה ממשיות מוקלטות ייצפו וכמו כן תשובת מועמדים לדרג ודיסציפלינה צבאית. התרגיל הזה יוחזק בחוץ ישראל בקרב ממשי.
