1. Raw Material First time when you think you want a raw material industry you need to check out this [3:url=http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pzoldhWsr8Ds5D_sH1TVrNA]list[/3:url] . You must understand the importance of region productivity until you spend your money for such a industry. A firm build in a "High Productivity Region" is noted with 2 in the table [ not all with 2 are indeed High .. some with 2 are medium ]. A "Medium Productivity Region" is noted with 1. The rest of region have no resource or low resourse. First this table isn’t truly correct and second is another factor that confuse people… on several region [ example Muntenia and Maramures from Romania appear on table 2 productivity for grain and wood , and also on there region page appear the same values.... but when you try to create a company in this regions... you will see it only have medium for that industry .. Be carful about this little thing when you make a company , check first time "create a company" and choose the ""raw material you want" and see what "productivity is really there" ] Raw materials are : Grain - needed to create food units Oil - needed to create moving tickets Diamonds - needed to create gifts Iron - needed to create weapons Wood - needed to create buildings (hospitals, houses and a new secret building) Productivity factor is [ Let’s take grain like example , but work for all ] : Productivity x 0,1 [ for regions with no Grain or Low Grain Resource ] Productivity x 1,0 [ for regions with Medium Grain Resource ] Productivity x 2,0 [ for regions with High Grain Resource ] So as you see , you can build a grain raw material industry everywhere, but in most of the chase will not produce to many grain. If you will build in a medium area [ probably in your country ] you will have an average productivity and I believe will be ok , even if you will have only half from the products you can make in the same way in a High Area productivity. But a High Area Grain [ or whatever ] is 90% of the chase outside your country , and this bring new problems .. you will need a license for your country , and you will also need to see what taxes are between your country and maybe to see if your country have an embargo with that country. You need to choose your region wise thinking first about this and only after you search all details. Also you can make a trick .. now even if you have a company you can move [ only limitation is the party status and most of the company are on SO. ]. This means you can have a raw material in Brazil let’s say .. and there you have a stock , when you want to buy it you move your company account in Brazil and buy it there. This is the cheapest way to do it , but probably require more activity and can be also a problem if your country and that country are in war because you will need to go there via another country. [ Example Romania and Brazil are in war or part of a war, you can’t move from Romania directly to Brazil , so you move first time in a neuter country , let’s say Thailand, and after from there you go to Brazil , and you come back in the same way ] How it work : Every raw material can be use by all company , not regarding the quality of company ... but is a cache... [ is my opinion , i didn’t check it with admins to see if is correct yet ] - A Q1 Company - will require 1 Raw Material for every productivity point [ Meaning 1 House Q1 need 200 wood, 1 Gift Q1 need 2 Diamonds , 1 Weapon Q1 need 5 Iron ] - A Q2 Company - will require 2 Raw Material for every productivity point [ Meaning 1 House Q2 need 400 wood , 1 Gift Q2 need 4 Diamonds , 1 Weapon Q2 need 10 Iron ] - A Q3 Company - will require 3 Raw Material for every productivity point [ Meaning 1 House Q3 need 600 Wood , 1 Gift Q3 need 6 Diamonds , 1 Weapon Q3 need 15 Iron ] - A Q4 Company - will require 4 Raw Material for every productivity point [ Meaning 1 House Q4 need 800 Wood , 1 Gift Q4 need 8 Diamonds , 1 Weapon Q4 need 20 Iron ] - A Q5 Company - will require 5 Raw Material for every productivity point [ Meaning 1 House Q5 need 1000 Wood , 1 Gift Q5 need 10 Diamonds , 1 Weapon Q5 need 25 Iron ] A raw material upgrade : [ is my opinion , i didn’t check it with admins to see if is correct yet ] - A Q1 Raw Material : Produce 1x Grain or Grain Lev 1 - A Q2 Raw Material : Produce 2x Grain or Grain Lev 2 - A Q3 Raw Material : Produce 3x Grain or Grain Lev 3 - A Q4 Raw Material : Produce 4x Grain or Grain Lev 4 - A Q5 Raw Material : Produce 5x Grain or Grain Lev 5 The two possibility are : - first every upgrade will multiply the number of grain produced , meaning if a worker will make 5 grain per work on a Q1 Grain he will produce 10 grain per work when the company will become Q2. - or is like the normal industry per Quality but with the fallowing explication : Let`s say one house q3 company... need 600 Wood Q1 to finish a house. It will only need 200 Wood Q2 , or 100 Wood Q3 or 75 Wood Q4 or 60 Wood Q5 to finish the same house.
