Perception? I Prefer Intuition

Day 1,084, 10:50 Published in South Africa South Africa by Shiloh DeGreat

Hello again, South Africa.

It would appear that we have a new mystery in our midsts. And as some of you may know, my real name is Francis York Morgan, and I'm an FBI Special Agent.

When I encountered this mystery, I was at first impressed, but the challenge seemed to appealing to ignore, so I've taken it upon myself to start a private investigation. The mystery at hand comes to us in the form of an Organization, though what sparked my curiosity was the article published under this Org. The article is a light criticism on eSouth Africa's internal relations. It even contains a short quote from George Santayana at the end. While Santayana isn't my favorite source of aphorisms, his words are still admirable. However, the author has chosen to remain anonymous out of fear of personal criticism while simultaneously removing characteristic bias from the reader.

What we've been told
The information from here has come straight from the source of the author. From reading the comments, we know that the author is at least moderately popular to eSA citizens, but not popular enough for criticism to be appreciated. This could mean that the author might have ambivalent relations with the eSA community. Pure speculation on my part, but interesting side note nonetheless.

We also know that Seisan provided the author with two gold. The author must not have very much money, considering that many of us were given treasure maps recently with the new strength system. This could mean that either the author is new and doesn't have strength levels or has donated most of the money to another source. The former theory somewhat contradicts my other theory of the author being well-known, so I think it's safe to assume that the author is either careless with money or extremely generous. Then again, the two gold donation could have easily been a distraction. I've ruled out the possibility of the author being a friend of Seisan because, as well all know, Seisan is a woman who has no friends.

Revelations in the Article
The article mentions a controversy that went on in the eSouth African forums about certain political leaders testing the war module and fighting for eHungary. Further investigation revealed that the accused were two-time CP nominee former VP Champinator as well as former VP and CP samgibz. The accuser exchanged many words with many forum-goers. However, the author seemed to have something to say on the matter, which leads me to believe that the author held back on posting in the forums, which for the most part rules out many of those who posted in the thread.

Follow the Money
Back to finances, the author explicitly states that money was spent fighting in Romania, leading me to believe that the author is in the eSAAF. As a member of the eSAAF, I can understand poverty. I took it upon myself to investigate a few of the eSAAF's soldiers. I won't mention specific names for security reasons, but I investigated as many soldiers as I could. I kept in mind that they must be somewhat popular in eSA with somewhat hostile relations and did not post in the forum thread. And it was ideal if this person could be linked to Seisan in some way.

I struck gold.

I found someone who is well-known to eSA, in eSAAF, did not post in the forum thread, and has a strong tie with Seisan.

Closing the Case

The author was sloppy, revealing far too much information than necessary. It doesn't help to know that Seisan is a long-time friend of the author, even being invited by the same person.

The culprit is: Shiloh DeGreat

Sloppy work, Shiloh. Thanking Seisan for that two gold he donated to you in a shout. Giving away your location. And you didn't post in the forum thread, but had to have read it when voting. You're well-known to plenty of eSA citizens, but aren't necessarily liked, and you know this, considering your previous article in which you mention your proposed banning from the forums. And you've mentioned admiring George Santayana's work in a recent article. Come clean, it's no secret anymore.

. . . But wait . . . I'M SHILOH DEGREAT

Francis . . . York . . . Morgan . . . Francis . . . ZACH . . . Morgan

HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG . . . ACK

I remember. I traded places with York. York . . . The other me . . . My other personality . . . .

Spoilers aside

For the record, I didn't write the article, and I have no idea who did. One of those may be a lie, but I'll leave that for other agents to figure out.
