Presidential Candidacy

First of all, I want to congratulate our new set of congress members for the month of May. There are first timers and there are also congress members that have experienced being in the congress and participating in the politics of ePhilippines. Fortunately, I am one of the congress members that are trusted with the votes of the citizens and I would like to personally thank those who believe in what I can do.

As soon as the official results of the congressional election have been release by the admin, I decided to run for presidency for the month of June, because I believe and I can say that I have the background and I’ve already experienced how the politics here in ePhilippines works.

This account was my second account after my first account was banned for creating multiple accounts, maybe veteran ePhilippines citizens can still remember a citizen named Jamaico Sablayan, which was me in my first account. It was almost 8 months old before my account was banned on January 2011. That time, I’ve been elected as a Congress Member, Party President and even Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House for many times.

The day I found out that I was banned, I bid my farewell and apologies to all my friends in ePhilippines and decided to start a new life in eUSA. I stay there for almost 7 months. I've been part of US Training Corps and Mobile Infantry of the US Military and I also join in one of the most influential political party in US which is the USWP. Fortunately, I became an official candidate but I didn't manage to win. Those times, I felt so useless in eUSA because I don't do something very significant for eUSA, so on August 2011, I quit on USMI and left USWP and decided to go back to ePhilippines where I can serve my own country.

I was immediately accepted with the help of some of my friends in ePhilippines before they some of them migrated to eChina. And now it's been 9 months since the day that I went back home in ePhilippines. I think I’ve been doing great here in ePhilippines. I've became Congress Member, Party President and even Cabinet Member for a President. So now the only thing that I haven't experienced is being a president, and I hope that I will experience that next month with your help.

Future Plans

If you give me the opportunity to be your president next month, I am planning and hopefully creating a peaceful but active community like what I’ve experienced in my first days way back on May 2010. I can't do this alone, so I am hoping that my future cabinet members will help me achieve my goals. As of this day, I’ve plan to assign secretaries to my executive departments which are:

Department of Foreign Affairs
Department of Education
Department of Defense
Department of Entertainment and Amusement
Department of Economics

I haven't decided to whom should I assign to those departments and if you believe in me and want to help the country. Just send me a PM, regarding this. And I will see what department you fit in with the questions I prepared for those who are interested. As soon as the complete list of the Cabinet Members is complete, hopefully I can publish it before the Election Day comes.

Final Words

I'm officially announcing that I, Lacon Yan, will be running for next month's presidential candidate and I hope that you see me as a potential leader and help me pass through with all of your votes. I hope that you will help me and help each other to achieve the community we want to be in ePhilippines. I don't have any hidden agenda for doing this and my main reason was to keep a good environment with all people here in ePhilippines. Again, I hope that you support me, and give your trust to me with your votes.
