Is It Worth the Cost?

Day 1,401, 15:40 Published in USA USA by Tim Col

Today is my 30 day birthday. I have accomplished a few things in the past month, and I believe that each of you can do the same whether you are a newbie or a vet. I know it’s not a perfect plan, but it worked for me.

So there are some very important things that I think each one of you should know and abuse to the best of your ability.

1. Buy a climbing center and train with it everyday. This will add an extra 2.5 strength per day. Let me do some math for you. If you are using the training grounds at full capacity (6.5 strength/day: Invite friend bonus + natural enemy bonus) and collecting the 1 strength from the home page everyday, you will gain 250 strength in 34 days. If you buy the climbing center, you will be adding 10 strength total per day, which will take you only 24 days instead. That is a full 10 days faster. For those of you worried about spending too many gold. You will spend 0.19g per day with the climbing center which over 24 days would equal 4.56g. At the next 250 strength mark you receive 5g, so you will still be making gold overall. It is worth the gold. And to top it off, the center only cost $100 and does not cost you a building space.

2. Upgrading your buildings at the right time can be important to your growth as well. Here are some statistics for you:
Two 2Q Food Companies will make 400, +4/use food a day(1600 health), and it will cost you 60 gold.
One Q3 Food Company will make 200, +6/use food a day (1200 health), and it will cost you 80 gold. You decide which is better.
Now, if you want to make money selling food or weapons, it is better to build Q5 buildings and hire plenty of workers to make enough to sell. It really will not matter if you sell food or weapons, but the lower Q levels are not worth spending the gold on without a future plan. Also, you may wait until a half off buildings sale to come before you spend too much gold.

3. It is worth the time of going through a military training program (I would recommend TC) in order to improve your gameplay. First of all, it provides you with some friends who probably know more of what is going on than you. Second, they give away quite a bit of food and weapons daily as long as you follow Orders and use them to fight, not sell (That would be a dirty thing to do, and get you kicked out). Look into it.

4. Houses. Are they worth it? Not so much. For a Q1 house, you will be paying around $840. This is an extra 10 health healed per day for 10 days. So that's $84 a day for 10 health per day. You can buy the same amount of food for $1.55 a day or $15.5 for 10 days. Now tell me is it worth the cost.

5. When buying new buildings, be smart about what you need and what it is going to cost you. 35 gold is a lot to buy for a Hunting Lodge especially when you can buy other buildings that make about the same or more for less. Lets look at some more math using for example the Cattle Farm which costs $7500 + $1000(land charge) each, and the Hunting Lodge which costs 35g ( at current price of gol😛 765 * 35 ( or $26775) + $1000 ( land charge). We will look at base earnings with no resource bonuses. Before doing anything, you can see a big difference in price for only 75 extra Food Raw Material.

The least common multiple of 250 and 175(the amount of Raw Material produced) is 1750. This is important because it shows how many of each building we would need for them to produce the same Raw Material in a day.

That would be 10 Cattle Farms and 7 Hunting Lodges. So you are looking at:
Cattle Farm: ($7500 + $1000) * 10 = $85,000
Hunting Lodge: ($26775 + $1000) * 7 = $194,425

So for less than half of the price for the Lodges, you can get the same amount of Raw Materials with cattle farms

6. At first, it may look like a good idea to buy some weapons to increase your attack strength, but it really does not make a huge difference while you are at lower levels. I would recommend holding onto those weapons or selling them in order to buy the much more needed food, at least until you hit level 20 or so. Using weapons is not worth the price at early levels.

At level 3 with 10.5 strength, Private Ranking, and a Q5 weapon, you can do 32 influence per hit. Not worth the $30 you are going to spend per Q5 at that level.

At level 25 with 427 strength, Commander ranking, and a Q5 weapon, I can do 282 influence per hit, so mine is not even that great compared to some of the great fighters of the eWorld.

7. Upgrading your town hall is by far one of the most important things you can do. This allows you to heal more per hour, so instead of being able to recover only 100, you can recover 200 or 300, which helps when trying to level up fast because you can fight more often. It makes you start with higher recoverable health after you go to sleep or leave the game for a few hours. Be smart about how you spend your gold early on because upgrading your businesses may not be the best use of gold. You get 1 gold per level, so you can stash away it for later use in case of a sale or something.

8. Spending massive amounts of time online is not that important in this game. It is more about timing and picking when to login. After you use all your health, you must wait an hour before you can eat and refuel, so do not sit around wasting time when you do not need to. Come back after an hour or so. Spending time playing is important but doing so in mass quantities is not.

Good Luck to you. And feel free to ask for help. I will continue to update this as I come up with new things that will help everyone. Vote and Subscribe please.
