I want to be president [Clopoyaur]

Day 1,108, 04:57 Published in South Korea USA by resita2009

Hello,

My name is resita2009 and this month I want to take a short interview to all the candidates for Country Presidency, today Clopoyaur

Before going to the questions i want to thank him for being so promt in sending the answers

1. For the beginning I would like a short description of yourself within 25 words.

You worked 343 days in a row. – This can say a lot about my E-Republik experience and abilities. Other than that, 31 years old full of ambition and joy of life.

2. Why do you candidate for CP?

Because I think that taking into consideration the new changes in economic module and the new spread of resources, South Korea can become one of the most important countries in the area. For this we need intelligence, strength, negotiation abilities, strong heart and cold blood. I consider I can raise up top these expectations.

3. What will you do in order to make a stronger and a dinamic army and to avoid moments like the loss of Jeju in a TW?

South Korea needs an army that should be trained daily, capable of inflicting damage when and where is needed. We have a few very good fighters but power is nothing without control. Since now we have 2 MPPs that bring us daily fights, we need to have daily orders for population and also for the army (the MoD did that just yesterday). This is why I have started the South Korean Dragons Army, a project designed to create an army capable of defending South Korea. I am quite an old player and I know how armies should be organized. The strength of a country in E-Republik consists in his ability to organize his soldiers and citizens to fight when is needed and where is needed.

4. Is hard to de everything by yourself, therefore if you win the election who will be the persons who will be part of your team (Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defence, Minister of Health, etc.)

Nobody can do all the things by himself. This is why I am having the intention to delegate many of the countries task, like this:
- Minister of Defense – takes care of the army and coordinates the army in battles
- Minister of Foreign Affairs – takes care of negotiation with other states regarding MPPs, wars, alliances and so on
- Minister of Education – takes care of the new born ones, teaching them how to play the game and directing them to the chats and forum.
- Minister of Health – also the one that takes care of the government companies of food, Will have to organize campaigns of food donations and to equilibrate food market in times of trouble
- Minister of Integration – a person who knows both English and Korean and to be able to facilitate the contact between natives and the people coming from other nations into South Korea.
Anyway, if I win, I am intending to collaborate with the previous administration also, so there won’t be totally new people, but a mixture of old and new players.

5. What do you think about the current taxes in South Korean and do you plan changing them?

. The last tax changes brought a 200-300% increase in taxes for the National Treasury. I don’t think they have to be fundamentally changed, but only adjusted in a few places. Since we have high Iron, we should keep the 1% tax for import as long as 5-6 companies of iron are started in the country. In that moment the import tax can rise gradually to 10-20%. Also, since we don’t have a great bonus in food production lowering the tax for imports might be good. As the things stand right now, I don’t see any change necessary beside those two. As the economy will evolve, I think taxes should be changed accordingly

6. According to Wikipedia, South Korea has a population of 48,875,00 people but less than 200 play E-Republik. How do yopu feel about that and how do you plan to bring more people into the game?

The population of South Korea increased by 25% in the last month, therefore we can talk about a mini-baby-boom, because I have seen a lot of new players in South Korea. Of course, there are many bots and clones also, but this is happening allover the eWorld. To increase people joining South Korea I intend to better handle the new born with those 2 ministers (Education and Health) and also to try and find people willing to put links to E-Republik on forums for other games.

7 Peace or war with japan?

Nothing is sure about the military module, about how the attack rules will be changed, but war is always stimulating the economy, therefore war is my option. However, since both nations can profit from this thing, I think the TW is more appropriate and maybe a regions swap in the benefit of both countries. The Jasko union (if will be made under Korean flag) would greatly benefit both countries economically speaking, so this is an option too. Anyway, my promise is that we would have daily fights.
Daily fights means economy growth, good training for the army, fun, means to keep the new players in the game.

8. How many companies do you own and what kind of?

I have owned almost every kind of company back in v1, but with the changes started in July, I only run a small part of them. Still now I have companies all over the world.

Good Luck
