I've Learned...

Day 1,220, 03:03 Published in Romania Canada by lucifer_ultionis

I APOLOGIZE this article is so long! Sorry! here's an Abstract:
This article reflects the idea that there are no realistic GROUNDS to consider that fighting to the orders will be more effective than if the citizens think for themselves where to fight, ceteris paribus of course. Moreover, there are serious drawbacks to consider when the time frame of winning a war is taken into the equation.

Yeah... so we lost Crisana, we lost Muntenia. But have we learned anything at all after these battles?
I did!
The first thing I learned was that puffing yourself with vanity rather than consider realistic expectations is VERY Costly!
That's why fighting in Anatolia (Turkey) (according to the orders) was a stupid mistake.
I've learned that those who run after 2 rabbits (let alone 3!) catch NONE! And I learned that Patriotism, even though romantic and harmless at the first sight, EASILY lures you into considering that you're able to catch 4 rabbits at a time!
Unfortunately the Damage formula DOES NOT TAKE into account how defiant or how much vanity you puffed up in yourself! ... And maybe that's a good thing too... who knows? 🙂

I've also learned that it's much easier to advise someone than to stick to your own advice.

But What I tend to contemplate after all these "Fight only to the orders!" is that we, the humble eCitizens, tend to trust someone's head more than our own. And the reason for that is that WE ARE AFRAID to THINK for ourselves! And there's a REASON for that. And it's not because citizens are brainless. It's because of the weird belief we have that:
"if we fight to the wishes of a few we will be able to inflict MORE damage than if we THINK OURSELVES and FIGHT chaotically". *I actually doubt very much the idea that given a choice of battles, citizens will fight RANDOMLY as if they are brainless flies! 🙂

I'll tell you my THOUGHTS: The idea of listening to commands is VERY PLAUSIBLE! BUT IT rarely has ANY effect! Moreover, if can do MORE damage in the SHORT RUN, Let along the consequences of dogmatism we have to pay in the LONG RUN!
Moreover, since there are more battles in order to win a WAR, IN WHAT BATTLE to fight is MUCH more important! Consider we all gathering together and fighting in a SINGLE battle with 100%... and WIN 1 Battle... what about the rest? (That's why we saw heros with only 30000 of damage in the war with Muntenia ... in the 6th and 7th battle! )
The Army is well organized with respect to "Fight in the last 5 minutes"! But think for yourself! That doesn't change MUCH! What REALLY is important is TO WIN THE WAR! Not the BATTLE! And you don't have to win all the battles to win the war! Actually, when fighting with HUNGARY: It MORE important to know when TO LOSE some battles so that you WIN the war!

I also tend to think , THAT MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, HAD we all fought according to OUR OWN JUDGEMENT, we would have NOT LOST at least SOMETHING! 🙂

I've also learned in the chats that there are MORE OPINIONS that People over there expressing them! SO FIGHTS between people even under the same flag are inevitable!
