How to Become A Battle Hero
djsims
Hello Everybody!
You are now reading an article written by the new Director of Military Intelligence of the British Bulldogs. In this article, I will discuss how you can earn yourself Battle Hero medals.
The first step to earning a Battle Hero medal is understanding what a Battle Hero is. A Battle Hero is a solider who does the most damage during a battle. Your damage is influenced by a number of factors such as Military Rank, Strength, opposing country (Natural Enemy or not), and the quality of your weapon. To increase your damage, I recommend increasing your military rank, using Q6 Tanks, and upgrading your training center. Upgrade your Training Center ASAP because there is currently a discount.
The second step to earning a Battle Hero medal is understanding how Battles Work. Within a Campaign, there are 8-15 battles. For each battle won by a division, the winning country will receive points. In eRep, there are 4 divisions.
Division 1 from the attacking country will compete with division 1 from the defending country. This is the same for the other three divisions. In order for a division to win a battle, that division must get 1800 points before the other one does. A division earns points every minuet on the minuet that it controls the influence (damage) bar.
In this case, the eUK's division 1 controls 54% of the bar, so they are the ones receiving points. The amount of points a division earns is dependent on the length of the battle.
Now that you understand the basics, it's time for you to go earn a Battle Hero medal for the motherland!
Timing is everything. You don't want to start using bazookas and rockets to early, because somebody will "snipe" you. You don't want to use you bazookas and rockets to late, because you may not have enough time to dish out the required damage. I learned both of these lessons the hard way.
You want to dish out your damage with 30-60 seconds left before the battle ends. In order to predict when the battle will end will require some basic algebra. In this case, it is USA vs France.
As you can see, France is winning. If we wanted to get a BH medal in this battle, we would start using our bazookas and or rockets around 1:25:30
How do I know this? In exactly 5 minuets, the points earned will double from 30 to 60. So in 5 minuets, France will earn 150 points. This will put them at a total of 1710 points. The battle will then end two minuets after this, because they would have earned 120 points. This puts them past 1800, so I want to start doing my damage in 6 minuets and 30 seconds after this picture was taken.
**I have found that 5 seconds before a battle ends (x
😶x:55) you can no longer fight**
Here is an example of when to go for a BH medal:
Why? It would be beneficial to my nation, easy to obtain, and it will benefit me in more ways than one. This is a pretty close battle. If I went for a BH medal, I would make a difference in this battle. It will be easy to obtain because the current hero only has 7k damage. 1 Bazooka will do the trick. (expect the hero's damage to increase when the battle gets closer to 1800 points). It would be beneficial to me because I would get my BH medal and it will put a dent in my True Patriot progress.
Here is an example of when not to go for a BH.
Why? If I dealt 80,000+ damage in this battle, it would be a waste. This is out of reach for France.
Here are the rewards for BH medals by division

I'm glad that somebody figured this out.
Lol, just trying to help out the players who didn't know. Not everybody has played for 3+ years like you have

You say this but your actually teaching and telling people to snipe, dont moan about people sniping and then teach people to do it
Voted 🙂
@NWG
Who said I was moaning? I was just telling them that it can happen.
Yeah go for the steal, do go for the snipe, that's how you do it 🙂 haha I find this article relatively funny and... well let's say unfinished 🙂
* You are right, mr. beloved director, when you say timing is everything! Though the timing explained here is not really all the timing! Finding a leading bh with 7k dmg in a battle is rather difficult, since there are constantly players lurking through battles, looking for the same thing you are - A chance to snap a bh medal!
So as you can see the time of the day is also important, for example if you are looking for a fight on an afternoon, you are likely to find strong competition! If you are looking for a fight at about 3-4AM, you are likely to be a part of a FEW creeps looking for the same thing as you are – a bh medal! If you are looking for a fight in the mornings, it is very likely that most of the players are at work, thus the competition is not as strong! Right?
Now… Let us consider the second situation (the one at Aquitaine) – you said, I quote “As you can see, France is winning. If we wanted to get a BH medal in this battle, we would start using our bazookas and or rockets around 1:25:30”!
This is when you DO NOT go for it! Why? Because most likely you’ll find a though competition (again – mostly depends on what time of the day it is) and if you do what mr. director here tells you to do, you might find other people doing the same. Then what happens?
– Basically if you go for it and deal, say, 60.000dmg and then some other player does the same thing and goes for it with 60.000 – 70.000 dmg, the the likely thing to happen is – the wall moves from one side to the other and you are doomed to wait the USA points reach to 1800, which is rather a lot time waiting and there is always the chance that someone else might snap it off of you! – Ain’t that right mr. director? Well, that is unless someone does the same amount of dmg on the French side...
...flips the wall to the other side and thus ends the battle earlier (again, depends on what time of the day it is and how many people are going for it).
And a little something they don’t teach you at school these days – DO NOT GO FOR THE BH ON BOTH SIDES! NEVER! If the same player has dealt the highest dmg for both sides, then the bh on both sides is declared as “neutral” and you’ll end up with nothing in your bag!
Anyway, this is where we stumble across the question of patriotism and the “true patriot medal”! – Basically, if you CAN deal so much dmg and there is an active battle in the UK and you go for the bh and some mangy 2 gold (which btw you can earn in money by subbing and voting to newspapers in the voters’ club almost every week, if you spend a little time on it)
My point is, if you can deal as much dmg, then wouldn’t be a more profitable move to go for the “true patriot” medal and get 5 gold, rather than the lame 2 gold for the bh? If you win 3 tp medals (1.000.000 dmg for the UK) it means 15g. If you go for 15g in bh medals – it means 8 of them! To win 8 bh medals, you will probably deal the same amount of dmg as for the true patriot medal!
btw voted, you've got my sub! Cheers mate : D
@dimegos
I don't know about you, but when I shoot, I shoot to kill. If somebody tries to compete with me in the final seconds of a battle, I promise you I will go all in. I hope everybody else would do the same. I'm not afraid to drop 3 or 4 bazookas + a rocket if I have to.
"I'd rather live one day as a lion rather than a thousand years as a lamb."
Also, everybody doesn't go for BH medals for profit, though it is a nice incentive. A lot of people strive to earn them because of their prestige.
You shouldn't be afraid to lose a BH medal. If you do lose it, look at the bright side:
You put a dent in True Patriot progress
You helped out your country
You got a bunch of rank points
You also shouldn't be afraid of shifting the influence bar. If you do, great! You can cause your division to win a battle! (Don't try to do this intentionally, it won't be worth it. Just look at it as the "bright side")
