Tēnā Koutou me mānawa!

This is my first article for Niu Tirani from Mangu me Taitea(Black and White) and I hope to have a fine beginning 'introductory' article to those who may not know who I am. My name is Marcos Arolia. I have been active in the community of our nation since the revelation by Admin of Niu Tirani. As a Member of Parliament(MP), I am a member of the New Zealand Home Guard, the military division for MPs to join.

The title of this article is in Maori. It is my first attempt to write one, so it is likely off in some manner. It means Peace and Prosperity: Parliamentary Programme. I am announcing that I will run again for Parliament, this time for Peace 'n' Prosperity Party in Otago.

Like all of our members, I desire for Niu Tirani to be peaceful and prosperous. As a young nation, we have great potential to make our wishes and desires come true. As Kiwis, we have come to create a new society that can become great. All countries are capable of this, but we Kiwis are adaptable and hopefully willing to overcome differences so that the nation, as a whole, will succeed.

There is still much to be done to establish government and create a stable and prosperous Niu Tirani:

1. Restore the old tax rate- As mentioned in my voting section, the consumption of goods has become more expensive under the new taxes. The original system is best for our society: low VAT for new citizens, low import to make the buying of raw materials we do not have an abundance of ourselves, and the small income tax for government revenue.

2. Improve Parliament- As we are a new country, this is a necessity. In terms of Parliament itself, there was not much done. Parliamentary Procedure was stalled continuously, and there have been minor plans for a Constitution. Perhaps the largest issue is the division in Parliament.is the main division between the Serb migrants and the English population within this coalition. The French MPP, the lulz proposals, and the basic stalling of government. We must improve cohesion with all members of Parliament, no matter what they were before.

3. Executive-Legislature Relations- After a solid beginning, the connection between the President and Parliament has not been consistent. We must improve the overall communication between the sections of government. Blind actions by either branch does not lead to healthy and stable government.

4. Tahi EDEN, Tahi Phoenix- "Tahi EDEN, Tahi Phoenix" is our non-aligned policy. In short, it means we have one EDEN MPP and One Phoenix MPP. Other considerations have to be met for the countries we choose. I am in favour of maintaining this policy for the time being.

Whakamutunga

There is much work to be done to create a prosperous Niu Tirani. Stability must be acheived within government to recreate our stability in the economy. Vote PnPP to achieve the goals of all Kiwis.

Remember:

Niu Tirani Tuatahi!

Kia Ora!
