Gates, Nonesuch, Sam, and the War

I assure you ( and I apologize for the language that will follow this parenthetical statement), that is total and utter bull shit, and Sam know this. He's letting his personal relationship with NoneSuch interfere with what he knows is the right thing to do. And to go as far as calling it a publicity stunt is outrageous. NoneSuch was called a traitor, among many other things, today, and he defended himself in the media. He supplied the military with approximately 140 weapons with no monetary compensation on his end, during the height of the war when prices for weapons were at their highest and he did none of that for "Publicity", and if anything his name has been dragged through the mud today." -Gates_Schellinger
I want to commend two citizens today, in this article.
Gates_Schellinger and NoneSuch.
Though the resistance war NoneSuch started failed, the two should be commended for their behavior. This was a tough TACTICAL decision made at a crucial time.
NoneSuch should be thanked, he should be praised for the money he spent on the war; he gave 57 gold out of his own pocket for his country, and now Uncle Sam wants to pretend it was just a stunt, some kind of gag-- for some kind of laugh. (He himself even endorsed it, so his words are rank with utter stupidity. )
It's not a joke, it's not a game. He paid that for a reason and he deserves to be repaid. Sam is being petty, and he's being foolish, as he has been throughout his term, apparently. He needs to listen to the people who expect a leader out of him.
If Uncle Sam refuses to repay, we should all go in together and pay him back ourselves.

The moment I heard Sam refused repayment, I offered to kickstart a charity fund for Nonesuch.
Voted. If this doesn't get passed in Congress, it's up to the citizens to show that we take care of the people who try and take care of our nation.

Props to Gates and NoneSuch. I'm not in congress and I'm not in the military, so I have no qualms about saying the President is behaving like a child.
whaaaat....he really won't pay him back? I mean, he helped us out a lot buy stalling their advance for a whole day ALL because of him and only him....I'd say that man is a damn hero right now.
So the President pays off the alliance hundreds of gold he shouldn't have, yet he cannot even pay a citizen less than one hundred gold for something he should have. The President has his priorities mixed up. He should be relieved of his post.
Wasn't Uncle Sam the one who said somewhere that a large amount of gold was "Pocket Change"?

Let me spam the unscientific but interesting forum poll on removing Sam from Office. 53%-40% in favor of impeachment/no-confidence vote, and this was before the NoneSuch-Oaxaca fiasco came to light.

Good article imo. Benn seriously needs to stop getting Sam high before playing eRepublik. That, and America should've elected DF. Guess what war we wouldn't still be in if we had elected him, and guess what 900g we would still have if we had elected him. I'll give you 30 minutes to answer.

Riiight....another candidate will always do wonders instead. Although I do agree that Nonesuch should be compensated, it is going a little overboard saying anyone else would be doing a better job. These were tough decisions made by Sam, sometimes on a moments notice. Half to 75% of us couldn't think of making the decision he has. Including DF. I am definitely not trying to troll, but come on, DF has no more experience with the military than Sam does, and I think if faced with the same decisions, a lot of his would have been the same.

Other presidents wouldn't have tried to open a second war while attacking Mexico. Imagine if we had opened another one, what kind of mess we would be in now. I can't stand by and not criticize Uncle Sam anymore, he has lost us this war and potentially American soil.
Impeach Sam now!
Lies! To be totally honest, I did end up being paid 1700 USD after the weapons deal went through. But the rest is all true.
And you do still need to be paid.
NoneSuch deserves to be paid. Period.
