Erepublik - Property of the Citizen

Day 628, 09:32 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Dishmcds
This article is written as a direction towards the community. Over the last month, we've seen lots of articles, comments, shouts, forum threads, and otherwise (IRC chats, logs, etc) that ask for various features to be implemented in Erepublik, changes to be made, or new things to be introduced. Working together, on both sides of the divide, we CAN and WILL make that happen.

Introducing Erepublik Suggest

To clear something up: In every language, in every culture, in every city, state, region, province, territory, and country, there are extremely talented individuals. Those individuals can have great ideas, poor ideas, hard to implement ideas, or things that can greatly help Erepublik. Erepublik is a game geared towards it's players. It always has been, from the introduction of the war module, V1's Grand release, the implementation of new countries, all of these things are done with you in mind. The Development team wants you to have the maximum enjoyment when you come to their site, and "live" in their community.

This is the New World. We're all trying new things. We're all supporting new ideals and values and working with people in places none of us had every imagined we would. People from all over the world ask for various things (my biggest request is Player v Player combat once again), but in order to make them "well received", they must be accepted first by the community. They cannot implement an idea because one guy in Oklahoma thinks it'd be cool.

This is why Erepublik Suggest is such a good idea. This allows us, as a community, to promote changes that WE want to see. They can be minor, major, etc and use the same basic voting system as the articles. They are easily accessed and visible and can be done in any language (although at the moment English is the only recommended version, others can be used as well).

In essence, if you want to see something done in Erepublik to change things, then you can now actually do something about it. For those of you who choose to not do anything "because they don't listen" or "I cba to do that right now", then I suppose you don't really have anything you can complain about, do you?

Hope to see you all there. Want a better experience? Here's your chance to show it!
