I immediately decided I needed to write an article today and publicly proclaim why Derek Harland and I should be the ticket you punch to lead the nation into V2! I will be short and to the point today...no need to drag out long winded articles.

I want to immediately address those who have questioned whether or not I am the right choice to be Derek’s VP. Firstly, it is refreshing to know that its not a lack of game understanding or experience that is the issue, but whether or not my current battle with Cancer will make me unavailable to do my duties as VP. To those who question my health and my ability to help Derek lead, I say fie on you. I am more than ready and I assure you I will not let silly things like chemo and Cancer stand in the way of helping to run this glorious country.

For those who wonder, can two guys who clearly live in the world of Chaotic Good lead a country during a potential time of warfare and deceit, I say, diplomacy and tact have always been the hallmark of any good leader. It is easy to hit the button, but negotiating peace has always been the bigger challenge. A monkey can press a red button...a leader picks up the pieces and puts it all back together again.

Derek Harland brings a wealth of understanding and pure raw skill to this role. He has served as VP on more than one occasion and has held the nations highest cabinet roles before. The only thing this talented and genius gentleman has not held is the office of the Prime Minister. His ascension to the highest office has been built on the most solid foundation of any of his competition. You simply can not find a more prepared individual than Derek. He has been groomed for this role for many months now...now it is time to hand him the reigns and let him do what destiny has so eagerly called him to do.

As Derek’s right hand man, I will be there to help Derek in any manner he sees fit to employ me. I prefer to think of myself as his political conscience...helping him to filter the good decisions from the bad. I come to this role with a solid foundation in media and writing. I have served in Congress and have served in cabinet on more than one occasion. If Derek is the strategic mastermind, then I shall be the mouthpiece in which he can put his plans into action. I consider myself a gifted individual in communication and so I will try to use my strengths as a communicator to help Derek put his plans into motion as well as ensure that communication between ministers is crisp and organized.

Should Derek need to take a leave from his post for one reason or another, you can feel confident that I will be able to step into the role on an ad hoc basis and continue the hard work this government will have started. Derek will surround himself and by extension, me, with intelligent and competent people who will help to keep the ship on course at all times...even during times of turbulence and uncertainty.

In the next few days you will be asked to elect the next leadership team for this nation. When that day comes, and you step into the voting booth, choose a team that brings experience and strong communication skills to the table. Choose Derek Harland & Acacia Mason!
