Day 76: Iran Attacks North Korea To Begin Secret Nuclear Weapon Program War

Day 676, 19:01 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

After pushing both Russia and France out of North America Canada and the U.S. launched their first joint offensive yesterday against Hungary. The offensive involved the U.S. attacking Manitoba and Canada attacking Washington, both regions were held by Hungary. Despite the determined effort Hungary was able to pull out a win in both fronts and now has the initiative in both wars. Hungary has yet to launch a counter offensive since winning both Washington and Manitoba, the Hungarians are most likely waiting until early morning tomorrow to launch an attack that way the battle will end when most North American players are sleeping.

Other then that it's been a very quiet day and today may very well be one of those rare days when not a single battle is started in North America. Only two new battles have started today and one of those involves a new war. North Korea had to fend off a PTO threat in the congressional elections yesterday and now they have to fend off another threat, Iran. Iran recently declared war on North Korea and attacked their sole region of Pyongyang, North Korea was knocked out early in the war after attempting to block Hungary for the U.S. and now Iran hopes to wipe them out again. Iran has a slight lead right now, but the battle is still young and it is very possible that some F/E nations send North Korea support. North Korea doesn't have any MPPs signed so they have had some trouble getting foreign help.

The other battle is with Finland and Russia battling over the Nord-Norge region which originally belonged to Norway. Russia has been dominating so far with a lead well over 100k, however it is worth noting that Finland is much smaller and has no MPPs activated so this is no surprise. Earlier this week Russia stated that they will "seek revenge" against the Scandinavian nations who blocked them during their failed attempt to hold North America so expect this front to heat up a bit.
