Day 38: New Jersey And Madrid Come Under Attack

Earlier today PEACE launched three major attacks in a bid to split F/E forces. The regions that were attacked were New Jersey in the U.S., Madrid in Spain, and Thrace in Greece. The attacks in New Jersey came as a bit of a surprise to many as most expected these to be the last regions attacked in their respective fronts. Hungary and Indonesia still seem to be supporting Russia so any hope of a revised peace treaty without Russia doesn't seem likely.

Today the first battle began in the Murcia region in Spain which France tried to invade. The Spanish president then retreated from the battle which left Spain with their. While Madrid is obviously Spain's most important region due to its high population and Q5 hospital there is another hospital in Andalucia and even if France were to succeed in Madrid they would still have one more fortress region to go through in Spain. Earlier this week France was able to take the weakest of the three Spanish fortress regions in the Balearic Islands which knocked them down to just Madrid and Andalucia for Q5 hospital regions which is now all they have left after the retreat in Murcia. Currently the battle is leaning PEACE's way with the wall down into the administration center.

In the U.S. the fortress state of New Jersey has come under attack by Russia. New Jersey only has about 500 more people then Madrid however the wall is much larger in New Jersey then Madrid since the Spanish government never bought a defensive system for Madrid. The wall in New Jersey comes in at an astonishing 570,300 points, with regions of 114,060 points each this could make for a long battle should it go into OT. It is vital that the U.S. hold New Jersey as without it one third of the countries population will be stranded behind enemy lines and it will allow Portugal or Indonesia (if they do a region swap) to attack Florida with much less resistance. Currently the battle is in Suburbia and the battle has been going Russia's way the past few hours however that could change soon with American's being ordered to hold their fire till their last log in and the wall being as massive as it is.

Thrace also came under attack in Greece. This is probably the least important battle of the three major ones going on now. Thrace does have a Q5 hospital but the population of Thrace only one third the population of Madrid and most Greeks live in Central Greece which has a Q5 hospital and high iron. Greece will probably be able to fend off the Turks in Thrace as they have a nice lead right now however the Turks have also opened a battle in the Aegean Islands where they will likely win, if they win here they will be able to attack Central Greece tomorrow and if they couple this with an attack on Florida in the U.S. and an attack on Spain's last region then they could split out the F/E forces again.
