Day 28: Canada Returns After Three Resistance Wars Successful In Canada

Canada is once again on the map as they have won three of their resistance wars thanks to careful coordination and help from multiple allies. The new Canada is much weaker then the old one with no Q5 hospitals and a population of only 150 however that number should grow rapidly once Canadians move into the regions. As of right now no PEACE countries have proposed going to war with Canada so all those regions are secure for at least 24 hours. We have yet to see any other resistance wars pop up in Canada and nations like Iran have already begun securing their Canadian regions by building a Q5 hospital in North West territories to drive up the cost of starting a RW. Jacobi will remain president of Canada and the congress will remain however the economy will take some time to rebuild as most companies were located in Ontario and other high populated regions.

This comes as good news to those in the U.S. as it offers another distraction for PEACE to deal with and hope that if the U.S. does get completely conquered we can win a resistance war. Things are not looking good for the U.S. right now with Michigan and Alabama already falling today and Missouri deep underground. If Missouri were to fall it might be a good thing for the U.S. though in that it would block off Indonesia from the rest of the country. Without a region swap Indonesia will just have to sit back and help out Portugal through their MPP, while the damage done will be close to the same it will limit PEACE to two fronts in the U.S.

One of the reasons PEACE has been able to have more success in the U.S. since yesterday is the fact that they are making us put our priorities elsewhere. With the Turkish invasion of Central Greece Emerick was forced to direct our troops over there to defend the high iron and leave the U.S. open. The battle in Central Greece looks like it will be a success for F/E with the wall 180k into no mans land however it is likely that PEACE will just keep attacking the region until it falls. It puts us in a lose lose situation, either defend the high iron or defend our few remaining regions, as long as the retreat tactic can be used by the attacking force it will be near impossible for a defender to ever go on the offense.

Another front of importance in Europe is France's war with Spain. Today France was able to advance a region further and took the Basque Country while Spain started a RW in Navarra. Navarra wasn't really that important since it was a small region and France only needed it to launch another attack but once Basque Country fell the Swiss retreated from one of the battles they had with the Hungarians to block the French while Spain started a resistance war in Basque Country. France's targets are the two regions in North West Spain which have borders with American states on their east coast and one has high iron, this would be disastrous to F/E if they were to fall since Spain would lose its high iron and they would be cut off from us and remove the only thing deterring PEACE from attacking the east coast.

Switzerland is down to its last region and right now they are deep in the underground there. Their only hope to stay alive is to either win in their blocking war where they are currently losing bad or to beat Hungary in their last original region where they are also losing bad. Now Switzerland has loads of tanks so they still could win this however right now the outlooks is grim.
