CPF's CP Nomination Results (and my thoughts on stuff)

Day 1,596, 17:36 Published in Canada Canada by Funky 24

Over the course of about 40 hours, I received a total of 19 votes from CPF members on who was their pick among the announced candidates.

Here are the results:
Pimpdollaz and Rolo Tahmasee each received zero votes.

Trenton Rendell received one vote.

Sasha KammakitzJen received two votes, with SaraDroz becoming the winner with the remaining sixteen votes (84😵.

Since the CPF is not high enough in the party ranking for our own nominee to make it on to the ballot, we will have no nominee and the CPF's membership is encouraged to vote freely and support whomever they so choose among the remaining 5.

At the beginning of the campaign I told SaraDroz that the odds of her winning were unlikely, which I unfortunately got right. But I also told her that since this was the case, she should make sure she at least bring some ideas to the table that people would more likely than not, get behind and by doing so, raise public discourse. The referendum was apparently the issue she decided on. I haven't seen when she talked to Addy, or what they talked about in absolute certainty, but frankly Sasha, I don't give a damn.

Anyone can communicate with the EPC, and since the referendum is not an EPC exclusive idea, anyone is allowed to support it without having to be associated with the EPC. Sara didn't get this idea from the EPC. The talk between her and Addy was that (during which Sara refused the EPC demand for a veto by her if she was to become President) if a referendum could be initiated, the EPC would cease interfering in our affairs.

This is a demand on the EPC.

This is the hallmark of an experienced CP, one I hope Sasha learns from before the next time she decides to take the MDP nomination.

The referendum would have been non-binding, and if executed would have not really mattered however. The accusation that Sara might have been in a complex conspiracy shows how naive Sasha has been about this entire thing. It's too bad Sasha couldn't think more critically or contact me for discussions. I also of course question her sudden disdain for a referendum when she agreed with the idea in the first place by supporting SaraDroz initially. Even if EPC involvement was real, the outcome and nature of the referendum would have remained the same.

Sasha, your support and criticism of the referendum confuses me. If you want eCanada to move on, why initially support a referendum that would likely result in a yes for re-classifying Rolo as a criminal?

Now for the twist

Indeed, if Sasha would have contacted me things might have gone differently, because, to be honest to you, the public, I am very much opposed to the basic concept of a referendum. It's why I didn't vote for our CPF candidate (hello Trent). I'm skeptical that every eCanadian (would we have a minimum level?) would or should vote. And despite having opposed the pardon of Rolo, the process to finding a way to overturning it is impossible since referendums are non-binding.

Since Congress was playing judge and 'executive' (I'm sooo funny) when pardoning Rolo maybe they could vote to repeal it since they've established themself as superior?
Or would we have the courts overturn the vote?
Or vote to make all referendums binding?

The result either way would be a problem. All three options is just role-play, tailored made for the role-players to do what they do best, and that's pissing off people, which in this case would be the pro-Rolo segment of society. What is needed is medicine of a different sort, something that's in the hands of our CPs. But with how spectacularly Addy and Acacia Mason failed at my preferred approach, I won't be holding my breath for eCanada’s salvation.

In the meantime I'll keep fighting the EPC terrorist scumand help grow the one true political party left in eCanada.
