Adding to the list of UK allies

Day 1,254, 09:25 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Max Blue

The UK is going to gain three more alliances in the next four hours when the last of a string of MPP's are compleated. This comes after The United Kingdom left Terra hours ago. The UK is taking up a position outside an alliance and making its own unique set of friends.

Continued friendship with Japan.

Revival of support for The Republic of Macedonia.

Another much loved old ally Lithuania.

So what does this mean?

Well some of these alliances might give cause for supprise to those outside The UK. This is because Macedonia and Lithuania hold MPP's that could bring The UK into conflict with some allies as well as The USA.

However, The UK still holds itself to the standards of supporting good allies. So, if there is call for conflict between two good allies I'm sure The UK will take a neutral role.

Does this mean The UK is planning to attack or be attacked?

Looking at the UK borders there are a number of potential conflict fronts.

The UK Map.

Potential fronts:

West

To the West is old enemy, and source of much hate for The UK - Ireland.

There are also previous allies Canada and The USA. These two have fallen out with The UK in recent times, the feeling between the two nations are uneasy. But it looks unlikely at the moment that either side has the appetite for war. The UK could start resistance wars in Irish regions that are held by Canada to narrow potential fronts of Canada against The UK.

South

Poland the worlds strongest nation sits to the South, but as I said earlier The UK signed an MPP with both Lithuania and Macedonia (both allies of Poland), so I doubt dispite The UK's past Poland will launch an attack on the UK's shores. Besides Poland is to busy and too streched already to attack a country that has been coming to see Poland as an enemy by proxy.

East

Poland again to the East (see South for more info). Sweden is the obvious front here and this could be a potential attacker or target. With Natural Enemy (NE) proposals being banned around in The UK (despite there failure) it shows there are some in The UK that want to send a message to Sweden.

North

Here are the same names as seen above, The USA, Canada and Sweden.

Overall it does not seem that The UK is expecting an attack or is planning one. It seems these MPPs are more symbolic than of necessity.
