A Message From Your CP: Sol Alliance

Citizens of the Philippines,

Since my election, I have been very busy in the world of Foreign Affairs. I envision a
nation that is safe from invasion and political take overs; I envision a nation that belongs to a community, where people can interact with their neighbouring nations like one would with a neighbouring household. This was my vision for the Philippines.

Thanks to the hard work of various Presidents and Foreign Affairs Directors from here and nearby countries, we have now made an agreement of friendship and non-aggression with bordering lands such as China, Thailand and Malaysia. Currently 8 states have agreed to this alliance, and hopefully more will come. This alliance, is to be called Sol, and the Charter of Sol has just been voted on by our congress. They voted yes.

The Philippines is now surrounded by allies, who have taken an oath to look out for each other. This is not a military alliance, it will not get in the way of our PEACE membership, many of the members are PEACE. But it means no one can ever take our soil by force, for they would first have to come through our friends.

Out of this alliance our war games were born and more are coming very soon once contracts are signed. We also hope to start a Sol forum and IRC channel, for good relationships are forged through people, not just through governments and diplomats. We hope to fully stabilise the Asia-Pacific region, and provide safety for all the tiny nations within.

So sleep soundly tonight, all we should worry about now, is Political Take Overs...
