The United Zionist Socialist Party

Birth of the Party

The United Zionist Socialist Party was formed late 2009 from the Israeli Progressive Party. On that day, the four founding fathers of the party came together and made a pact. A pact that was called the United Zionist Socialist Party, or UZSP for short. Our goal was to bring down the Israeli Workers Party and the idea that leaders should hand over the reigns to their favorites. We favored true democracy.

That party was the fifth ranked party out of the five parties Israel had at the time. It took time, but the UZSP eventually became the largest political party in the country, winning gains such as 33% of the Knesset, then 50% of it back to back before it started to decline.

The Party Fathers

The four fathers of the UZSP were Sir Valaro Volcrum, Ezekiel Ben-Or, Hyman Roth and Charles Nimitz. Each of these players had a major role in the development of the party from its birth to its death or were in some way instrumental in its creation.

Sir Valaro Volcrum

Sir Valaro Volcrum was a new player to Israel when he decided to get into politics. Originally, he had concentrated primarily on the military however there was a lack of major political activity as the Israeli Workers Party seemed to control the nation as they simply "chose" people to be the next President. Initially, he wanted to form his own militarist, Zionist party however that would have cost 40 gold. Instead, he talked to Charles Nimitz and brought the idea up with him for a strong, Zionist party that would work to ensure new players have every chance to get involved. This was the schism that lead to the creation of the UZSP.

Sir Valaro Volcrum served as Commandant of the Maccabee Strike Force, Military and Foreign Affairs Adviser on the Executive Board, served on term in the Knesset under the UZSP and served as Party President for one term. Additionally, he ran most of the Knesset Elections Campaigns after Hyman Roth discontinued his work as Party President.

Ezekiel Ben-Or

A fellow Zionist, Ezekiel Ben-Or, or EBO from now on, had worked closely with Hyman Roth on discussions about Zionism and the possibility of bringing it to fruition. Once Sir Valaro Volcrum and Charles Nimitz had gotten word to him through Hyman Roth, he immediately played a role in how the party would shape into being. After the party was formed, he played a major role as the Press Director and was involved in all the major decisions the party took on its path to becoming the premier Israeli political power.

Hyman Roth

After the UZSP was formed, Hyman Roth ran in the next Party Presidential elections and won in a landslide over incumbent Charles Nimitz. He served two terms as Party President, was Vice President under Franz Kafka after Zaib Atsu's impeachment and is was the most well known leader of the party. His ideas helped shape the name and the Manifesto of the party and he set high standards for the people he inspired.

Charles Nimitz

Charles Nimitz as Party President of the Israeli Progressive Party allowed the name change to take place. He allowed this party to exist. Without him, there would not have been a UZSP. After losing the PP elections to Hyman Roth, he later quit the game, but has since come back under a different name and is now associated with the United Zionist Party, the child of the UZSP.

Other Influential Members

Immediately after the creation of the party, there were many players that stepped up to be leaders. The most notable were Jewyoyo and Sam Krakower, both served as Party Presidents later on. With the flood of American players under the invitation of Sir Valaro Volcrum, such players as Joshua Hoss and Kazeal joined the party and played instrumental roles in its success and its development.

New players and old players alike should also get credit for their party. Old players such as CJ Will Win, Moishe and a variety of new players joined the UZSP under the inspirational leadership of Hyman Roth. The party may have been formed by the four so called Party Fathers, it was a solid member base and activity that allowed the party to become powerful.

Death Of The Party

The death of the United Zionist Socialist Party can be traced to around the time that Sir Valaro Volcrum left Israel. A name change had already been implemented from the UZSP to the United Zionist Party. All four party fathers went silent or left. Sir Valaro Volcrum went back to America, Hyman Roth became a two clicker until he stopped playing altogether, Ezekiel Ben-Or got married and had a son and stopped playing and Charles Nimitz left Israel and eDied.

It was during this time that the party died and it experienced rebirth into something new through players like Gavin Wax, 70mD II, matan9010 and others. This "new" United Zionist Party is still finding its way around, but it is once again the most powerful political party in Israel.

A Final Legacy

The original UZSP created a legacy and set a new standard. It destroyed the concept that leaders should be picked by an elite political class. It sought out to increase political activity for a stronger, more active Israel and its growth allowed other parties to start competing actively for strength. It had times where it was controversial and times where it was the party to be in. In the end, it established a legacy of strength as it conquered its opposition before it finally fell to the side and died to experience rebirth.

Looking To The Future

The United Zionist Party is a different party from the old UZSP. It maintains similar ideals, but like a child to a parent, it is its own device. It will soon establish its own legacy and as it grows in strength, it will continue to have a major impact on Israel's political landscape for time to come. I only hope that it doesn't become that which we sought to destroy.

In the end, Israel is repeating history and I see the rise of the UZP as the next cycle for the country to go through...
