Music is the soundtrack of your life ☮

Day 4,742, 00:49 Published in USA USA by Gaia Data

Good morning America, good morning World,

this morning I wanted to share a youtube-video with a song, that is very dear to me. Then I realized that it deserves more then to be c/p-ed into my friends-feed, because of the place it has in my life. I believe we all have favorite songs we like to listen or dance to. This one is something more special for me.
When I listen to it I always get emotional. Not just because of the great lyrics, but because I can relate to it through different life-situations in the last 7 years (it was published in 2013.). It followed me through lots of ups and downs and keeps "miraculously" popping up here and there.
And when I hear it I am always joyful, but sometimes I cry and get emotional.
This song is close to my heart and the beauty of it I can hardly describe.
Here it is:

IMPORTANT: Click on the upper link, so it will play on Youtube directly!!

I've shared the radio-live version, not the original with the great Emeli Sandé, mainly because of the beautiful performance and because of Anne-Marie's exceptional & tender vocals!

Here are the lyrics, so you can sing along (I always do!):

I don't do yoga, never tried Pilates
Not many people want me at their parties
Tryna find my place, some place, oh I, oh I, oh I
And I drink a little more than recommended
This world ain't exactly what my heart expected
Tryna find my way someway, oh I, oh I, oh I

[Chorus ]
See, whoa, c'est la vie
Maybe something's wrong with me
But, whoa, at least I am free, oh, oh, I am free

If you ask the church then I am no believer
Spend Sundays asleep I'm just another dreamer
Still tryna find my home sweet home, oh I, oh I, oh I
And I guess I ain't too good for money neither
I got two left feet, no, I'm no Jackson either
Just tryna find my way someway, oh I, oh I, oh I

[Chorus ]
See, whoa, c'est la vie
Maybe something's wrong with me
But, whoa, at least I am free, oh, oh, I am free
Yeah, whoa, c'est la vie
And maybe something's wrong with me
But, whoa, at least I am free, oh, oh, I am free

Just tryna find my home sweet home, sweet home, sweet home, sweet home
I drink a little more than recommended
'Cause this ain't exactly what my heart expected

[Chorus ]
Whoa, c'est la vie
Maybe something's wrong with me
But whoa, at least I am free, oh, oh, I am free
Yeah, whoa, c'est la vie
Maybe something's wrong with me
But, whoa, at least I am free, oh, oh, I am free

Please, tell me in the comments if you have a special song, that follows you in life and has a special place in your heart! Paste the youtube-link and tell the story behind it. I would enjoy reading it!

Yours truly
