(TDM) New Weapons Distribution Structure

The Ministry of Defense is reforming its weapons distribution structure.

Basically, instead of receiving weapons during deployment, each soldier will be constantly equipped with a 'survivor kit'. The survivor kit will consist of a personal OR, and weapons which are stored inside the OR.

They are to be used during emergency times, so that the confusion of distributing weapons can be avoided, and deployment can be quick and efficient.

The weapons (for the survival kit only) and the creations of the OR will be subsidised by the government. For ORs, the government will reimburse 1G for every OR created. For weapons, the government will sell it to all soldiers for the following price to fill their survival kits:

Q1 - 0.08 gold
Q2 - 0.17 gold
Q3 - 0.3 gold
Q4 - 0.45 gold
Q5 - 0.7 gold

Please contact Tentera Darat Malaysia (this OR) and we will advise you on what weapons you are entitled to receive subsidy for.

Do soldiers have to buy their whole 'survivor kit' at once or can they build it up bit by bit?

What about those soldiers that already have storage orgs? Can they claim the 1 gold?

Will there still be distribution of free weapons in the event of an attack?

We lose soldiers to other countries, to OmniCorp etc. Will those soldiers be expected to return the weapons, or can they keep them?

I am not aware of us recruting from the TDM.

We will try to work out something for those soldiers who can't afford it all at once.

They can't claim that 1 gold unfortunately, I'm afraid. It would be great also if only those requested it who are in need of that 1 gold.

Yes, there will be to citizens. But mostly q1 only. Soldiers will have to use their survivor kit in case of emergency which will be refilled afterwards. (For free or at a big discount.)

Soldiers pay for these weapons so there's no ground for asking them back. It's a risk we have to take.
