The eUK is a community which is centred around politics. So it's key to know who they are. You'll definitely encounter them in the eUK. So let's take a look at the top 5..... Also, we haven't had one of these for a while. I like updating things

#1 - The Unity Party/TUP
Founded - Janurary 2008
TUP is the largest political party in the eUK, and have been the largest for quite a while now. They are one of the oldest political parties in the eUK and their experience speaks for itself. So many of the eUK's CP's have come from TUP. Out of the all of the parties this party also holds the largest amount of congress members, with 216 members and 14 members of congress making up 35% of congress.
#2 - New Era/NE
Founded - September 2012
Compared to the rest of the top 5. New Era is as it says - New. Bearing in mind that despite this they have still been around for some time now. Even though they are the second largest eUK party, they have not had a CP as of yet. New Era holds
5 congress seats (12.5
😵and with 138 members.
#3 - UK Progression Party/UKPP
Founded - October 2011
The UKPP stands at 3rd in the eUK rankings at this point. The UKPP used to be the largest party in the eUK. However they dropped massively following a take over of the party. Despite this the UKPP have managed to survive and currently has 75 members and 5 congress members (12.5
😵.
#4 - UK Reform Party/UKRP
Founded - December 2007
The UKRP is just below the UKPP in the rankings. Ranks 3-6 are very competitive at this point. So parties may switch around rather quickly. At this point the UKRP remains one member below the UKPP at 74 members. The UKRP is the oldest party in the top 5 by. The UKRP hold 5 seats and 12.5% of congress.
#5 - People Communist Party
Founded - February 2008
The PCP is below the UKRP in the very competitive part of the rankings at this point. Founded just before TUP, The PCP is the 3rd oldest party of the 5. Like the other eUK parties below TUP. The PCP hold 12.5% of congress, with 73 members. Just like the UKRP. They lie one member below the party above them. Which is why this area in the rankings is so close and competitive.

PCP is older than TUP!
Yep, of course! I made a mistake while typing this up in a hurry 😃.
Well, TUP as a party is older than PCP, but it changed it's name to TUP in mid-2008 so if you mean TUP under it's current brand then yes PCP is older. Really TUP changed the most after I dictator'd it in March 2009, if you want to be picky that was the beginning of what we call TUP today.
If we're going by party organisation age then ESO would be older than everyone :3
It was the same party though. It wasn't a party which was dead and taken over, all the same players stayed there it just changed it's name. If UKRP changed it's name to United Mustard Party tomorrow but left all the rest of it's stuff the same - members, policies, constitution etc - it would still be the same party. Like I said, I made bigger changes than FD did, so it's silly to consider the name change the founding of the party.
ESO is a former eDutch party, one of the oldest in eRepublik (#2😎. It became eUK after eUK wiped the eNetherlands. Shortly after that the rules changed and party didn't move to another nation when a nation is being wiped. So after eNetherlands became independent again, its members left eUK and the ones that wanted a new party could take the almost empty party for free. ESO emerged. Good that in this some of the eDutch heritage exists in eUK.

By saying it was a take over you are not being impartial...
But it was taken over, if someone replaces someone else. They've taken over that position.
