Every party that has established itself has developed its own platform. Few people ever read it but it is an essential piece of policy, nonetheless. The Kiwi Independent Party is going to create a shorter platform, establishing brief descriptions of policy, with the intent that it will actually be read. A more in-depth platform will be created at a later date with input from members.
Preamble
The Kiwi Independent Party is an egalitarian party that provides an equal voice to every one of its members. It is a tool for each one of its members to improve and democratize eNew Zealand.
Democracy
The chief tenet of the Kiwi Independent Party is a dedication to the rule of the people. The President of the Kiwi Independent Party is merely a first among equals, deciding on policy and the direction of the party with input from each and every participating party member. No current member shall be excluded but some leeway is permitted for representative governance.
Direction of the Party
We are committed to growth and to providing an inclusive party for all who join. We hope to reach top five in time for the November 25th Congress elections.
Party Relations
The Kiwi Independent Party is making strides to improve relations between the various parties and is maintaining communication between the various Party Presidents. Our Party President recently donated ten gold to the Kiwi People’s Party to help them set up their communes. We are continuing the same altruistic policies with all Kiwi political parties.
Taxation
We feel higher income taxes and lower VAT will have the least negative impact on new players and will not punish older players for spending their hard earned money in New Zealand.
Foreign Policy
It is the considered opinion of the Kiwi Independent Party that eNew Zealand should follow a policy of non-alignment and avoid direct membership in either Phoenix or EDEN.

Comments
Gauius - would you instruct all your congress members to vote against the unilateral tax reforms?
What's your party stand on the tax reform??
Ya, i agree with Carr fr Vaux. People should know your party's stance on tax reform.
Other then that... Good job
If you read the platform, you will see that the Party President is a first among equals with no right to order anyone around. We'll vote collectively as a party on what our stance is and our Congressmen will vote according to how best they see to serve New Zealand.
In other words, I will never order anyone to do anything against their wishes. That's anti-democratic and goes against the whole idea of the party.
My role within the party, and hopefully the way for every future Party President, is to guide the party, not to instruct it.
^and that's why I'm happy you ended up as PP.
