[Fi4PoNZ] Who the @#!* am I?

Day 1,106, 09:56 Published in New Zealand USA by Fionia

As I announced two nights ago in NZ Nightly News, I am running for President of New Zealand. This is the first of several articles I'm going to publish about the topic.

For this first one, I figured that you might want to know who this crazy lady is and why she's asking for your votes. 😃

I was eBorn on day 456, in Kaliningrad, Russia. I two-clicked there for a few months before moving to Canada (for about a week), and then the eUS, right in time for the North American Invasion in WW3. It was then that I started to get active.

I entered the political world in August 2009, when I attempted to run for Congress under the United States Workers Party. They didn't pick me as a candidate, but they told me that if I got active on their forums and IRC, I might have a chance next month. I did get active, and I was picked as a candidate in September. And so, my eCareer began September 26, 2009, when I became the Congresswoman from New York.

I could go in detail about the next 14 months, but that would make for an incredibly long article. Let's sum up what I did, though:

* Congresswoman for New York 3 more times, for New Hampshire once, and for Florida once.
* Joined the USWP EB in December as Legal Director.
* Attempted to (3 times) and semi-successfully (once) revamped the North American University.
* Deputy Speaker of the House, eUS Congress (January/February)
* USWP Elections Director
* APF Elections Director
* Speaker of the House, eUS Congress (March/May)
* Joined SEAL Team 6
* USWP Communications Director
* USWP Chief of Staff
* Vice President of the eUS
* Ran (and lost) for President of the eUS
* USWP Party President
* New Zealand ATO Director
* New Zealand Vice President

That's quite an extensive list. But you're probably wondering, so what? What does any of that mean to you being a President?

It means:

* I'm good at organizing people. The North American University job, for example, required finding teachers, finding students, and forming the students who applied into reasonable sized classes for the teachers. The Elections jobs I held (USWP, APF, and NZ ATO) involved finding candidates, finding blockers, finding voters, and then directing all of these people to get the best result possible.

* I'm no stranger to controversy or tough decisions. I've been called corrupt, power-hungry, a medal chaser, crazy, manipulative, two-faced, and so many other things that I've lost count. I've made decisions to dump a 6th party's candidates of my party's ballot (USWP Elections), oversaw the Congressional vote to leave EDEN (Speaker of the House), helped both create and destroy one party (the APF), and signed peace with Ireland, which was widely seen as a bad move (eUS VP). So let me just say this: I'm human. I've pissed people off and made bad decisions. But weighed against my next point, I think the good I've done can make up for the bad.

* I am one of the hardest workers you will meet in this game. When I directed elections for the USWP and APF, both months, the party nearly won a majority in Congress. When I was Speaker of the House, I took what had been a stagnating and inactive Congress and kept them active for a good two months (the length of my term). When I got fed up with the APF, and helped to rebuild the USWP, I came up with the new party structure and the media bliss that led to the initial success. When the USWP was stagnating, and Jude Connors ragequit, I stepped up, and by the end of my time as PP, the USWP was more powerful as any party had been in months. When I came to NZ, the first month, I organized a couple hundred candidates, blockers, and voters, and kept us relatively safe (the second month was less successful due to a heavy load of schoolwork). I put countless hours into this game every day, and where I go, success often follows.

* I can delegate. I know that President isn't a one-person job. I also know that there are people here who are stronger than me in certain areas (like economics). That's what a cabinet is for, and that's what you'll find out about in one of my later articles.

* I know how to use the media. Here's an example, probably one of my favorite articles to write of all time. NZ Nightly News is another example. I've written some powerful articles as Kiwi Kontrol too, but my favorite has to be this one.

So there you have it. That's who I am, and a selection of some of the qualities that will make me a good President. Stay tuned in the coming days for the policy part of my platform, and details about my Cabinet.

And check back every night between 20:00 and 23:00 eRep time for the newest edition of:
