[eSA] What is our Country Goal?

Here we sit, back in our Brazil-protected pocket.
South Africa has 3 Groups doing things illegally.
The Macedonians who are allegedly PTOing us so that they can bring down the Turks PTOing our country.
We also have The Turks, who despite our Turkish President, are here to do something that I'm not quite sure of.
Then there's the "Elitists" aka, the group of citizens who loves eSA more than anything and wants things to stay the same.
This article focuses on the Elitists in the country
I've always been forum active. I was a founder of UP, I moved to DB, I became CP, twice. I'm better than you. When I make a decision, it is always right and I'm offended that you would ever attempt to question me.
I'm an elitist in South Africa. One of the elite, who despite not holding a real cabinet or congress decision in the last 3 months, has a LOT of influence as to what the country does. I make input in congressional decisions and vote for who the next leader will be.
There are 2 types of elitists in eSA.
Hamilton Moore, Crumoet, and Grimstone are the usual scapegoats, but THEY are not the elitists of the country. They are the slaves to the real elitists. They have to put up with our bureaucratic bullcrap. These might be the "Providing" elite, but they don't make the decisions. We asked Grimstone to become CP and save the country. He was unable to, because we had nothing to do but make everything he wanted to do take longer. While ultimate change has to go through them, they have to rely on us to make the decisions.
The real elitists are those who are too afraid to make a move, to afraid that the decision of their leader will be wrong. When I attacked Uruguay, I didn't use congress or anything, I went above and beyond because congress would have ruined everything. It ended up being a failure, but did it really? We had some really good fighting activity during that time.
The real elitists of this country are the ones who are to afraid to make Brazil upset, or too afraid to take a chance into trusting a country we have had sour relations with in the past. The real elitists are those who are unwilling to follow our alliance into following TWO because we are too timid that we'll lose this complacency we've grown to love.
Us elitists are afraid of change. We are afraid of the Macedonians, the Lazocrats. Rather than asking the Lazocrats how they run such a successful MU, rather than welcoming more and asking them for rent for a good house for their MU. We have to keep our community small. Macedonians were able to unite under the "Macedonian Army" banner for the MU competition. They changed things, quickly. They reacted.
We want a baby boom, but it won't happen. The only way we will grow is from the outside. Quit being so afraid of change and ask how we can work together.
Our elitists had a great political structure a few years ago. But things have changed. Rather than try to restructure our political scene, we would prefer to sit in a party with 11 people, not looking to recruit more, and not help in any way.
Ultimately, the elitists are the ones deciding who is not allowed to participate in government, that Marmaduke IV (who hasn't done anything) is a PTOer, who can participate in discussions on the forums, who is worthy of government incentives and who is worthy of being IN the government. There are so many elitists in this country and I don't think 3/4 even realize they are.
So, elitists of South Africa, I think you have 2 options: Embrace change, figure out how you can benefit from it, OR be swallowed alive by it, because there's a storm coming, Mr. Wayne you can deny it and let your house blow away, or you can prepare for it and do what you want.

We're only going here again, because in the past we've been unable to change. Now we are sitting in a very scary point in eSA's history, where if the old guard doesn't try to adapt, they will be swallowed up and spit out.
That I know, I'm referring to the known and expected reactions.

This is so perfectly worded. Couldn't have said it better myself. Especially the part about taking risks and doing fun stuff like attacking and joining real alliances just to increase activity and have some fun every once in a while.
And yet you seem ready to vote for someone who is going to maintain more of the same stance. He may say he wants the community to come together, but I've see how Miya interacts with new members of our community.
Ultimately the change won't come from the CP. the change will come from the revolution.
Oh bull, he's not leading a Revolution, leadership is supposed to set an example, not just say things, when they can't even do them. Just another person in a line of people who make false promises in this country.
So long as there is a boring, innactive IA president, which has become the norm, there will be no revolution. That's why I joined Gold Party. They're the only ones that were actively trying to change things and not afraid to speak out and the only ones that weren't judging me unfairly.
Give Cody Caine a chance and let's see what happens.
I'm not disagreeing. What I'm saying is: The CP will not change the face of this country. The change has to come from the countrymen. Do I see Miyagi changing eSA? No. But I also don't see you changing it. I listened to your radio show about the Gold Mine and you thinking it was "Better not to have won it." We'll see when gold is distributed, but I would strongly disagree. with you on that regard. I think you have made good, valid points on other facets as well, before I vote this time, I'm really going to pore over the campaigns and see who has convinced me the most. Let's be honest, in eSA, the CP is only the placeholder for the next CP.

I'm not entirely sure what group I fall under either. I guess that's a good thing.
I can say with certainty that I don't fall under the elitists. I've been trying to change things since 2011. Yes, a pitiful reformer I am. Unfortunately I have Frank Furglar's shadow foregoing me...which is why I haven't achieved any successes.
To be fair, Frank was more of a bureaucrat. The reforms he pushed for did not change much. Only the government structure.
Still. The word "reform" is banned on IRC and shunned on forum.

Sounds like you need me to come back as CP to lead us to glory against the Brazilian oppressors. It took 4 years for you people to come back around to my view, but I knew it would happen sometime.
What say you, eSA? Will it be continued slavery and collaboration with those who stabbed us in the back when we fought for our freedom against Indo in 2009 or would you rather regain your dignity and self-respect and risk all while having a bit of fun? Do you want yet another president who just talks and does nothing or do you want to go back to the only one who actually acted and did what was right, regardless of the cost?
It looks like we will have another wishy-washy, do-nothing administration for this month, but keep in mind what I said when the next election comes around. If people are interested in fighting again, let me know. If not, then fine, I'll still be here two-clicking, watching, and waiting.

Consider the word given, my friend. We are running in July on a War with Brazil platform.
I read all the articles and the insight are generally pretty good. I must admit that I have never really understood the Elitist label. If you are too inactive to do anything then you have no power -- unless that power is to prevent anything happening -- in which case Elitist is far too flattering a label. Otherwise it seems an oxymoron that the best of our society (activity wise) hold it back. I will agree that we do suffer a certain stasis induced by the Conservatives. We have a largely conservative community who can be very frustrating to deal with, especially when there is a call for rapid change. They kick in the bureaucracy by citing law but never changing it.
But are they necessarily wrong?
I think we forget the toll that being constantly wiped takes on a nation. But sadly its just a different kind of cynicism than we have now. Dynamic action is the solution. It keeps life interesting and inspiring. I am all ears for a solution that preserves dignity and fosters social cohesion without throwingo ut the baby with the bathwater.
Sounds like we will be treading water for yet another month. For those of you who are fed up with the status quo and want to risk all in a war against our oppressors, get on the Jizzie train for the ride of your lives. I will be running on a War platform in July. The odds will be stacked against us, but at least we will have fun again and will bring back a sense of honor and respect to eSA. My goals will be to build an alliance with as many powerful enemies of Brazil as possible and to begin the fight before the end of my term. I don't care if Brazil knows or not. Everyone will know what they will get when they vote for me. We may need two terms to see this through, but I will not serve more than two if elected.
