A brief update from your cabinet.
The overall situation is dominated by our ongoing war with eNew Zealand who have made clear their intention to take all of eAustralia's regions while their alliances are in the ascendancy.
DEFENCE
Unfortunately the key battle for Queensland was lost, with that region now overrun by eNew Zealand leaving eAustralia with only 2 regions, Northern Territory and Tasmania. A resistance war was immediately launched in New South Wales, and all citizens and allies are urged to contribute to returning this region. A new attack on Northern Territory is expected later today or tomorrow, the return of New South Wales is critical to keeping eAustralia on the map. As always follow official Dept of Defence orders to ensure you're fighting smart.
FINANCE
The major overhaul of our tax system is now complete but it is too early to tell just what the effect will be. The loss of our regions has a major effect on our economy both in terms of overall activity, loss of resource bonuses, and reduced tax income. Managing a wartime budget is no easy task, but at least we have the benefit of years of experience in overcoming such adversity. Reserves of foreign currency are being moved from the treasury as a safeguard against complete invasion.
FOREIGN AFFAIRS
The successful passing of mutual protection pact with eGreece, and renewal of our alliances with eUSA and eBulgaria gives us hope to repel the invaders. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been frantically working with our allies and potential allies to secure support for our defence.
EDUCATION
Articles have been published to invite new citizens to join our national forum, and discussing the current gold offer.
NATIONAL SECURITY AND IMMIGRATION
A number of citizenship requests have been approved, and with no citizenship requests pending the department is running smoothly.
CONGRESS / SENATE
Congress have formally approved our mutual protection pact renewal with eUSA and eBulgaria, and the re-establishment of our formal alliance with eGreece is certain to be approved very soon. Congress is also likely to approve the transfer of foreign currency from our treasury to the Reserve Bank very soon, as a means of securing the country's treasury against invasion.
That's all for now. Your Ministry of Information will keep you updated with current events as they happen, please be sure to shout and vote this article so other citizens will get the message. Feel free to PM one of us for further information.

"infin. we have a new Greek MPP now. more are in discussion but ofc this does take time and planning "
Oh wow. Things take time and planning to get right now, do they? A bit of a backflip Tim but I'm not surprised by the hypocrisy of this government.
"Unfortunately the key battle for Queensland was lost, with that region now overrun by eNew Zealand leaving eAustralia with only 2 regions, Northern Territory and Tasmania".
Imagine the shock ROFL!
what's your point TJ?
TJ you turned out a big troller.
You seem to not be happy with the regions that are blue again, only because Discrate was impeached and you were his right hand. What did you expect with all the crap he posted in the forums?
Try to help the present cabinet, help your country. In 4 days elections are to be help! Why don't you run for CP? You seem to have all the answers
k0llht0s i didn't see you saying "Try to help the present cabinet, help your country." When the trolls and disruptors were disrupting my CP term with lulz proposals and all the other nonsense.
So you really shouldn't be hypocritical.
